Welcome....!!

Hey everyone...

Im so excited, I recently got my hands on a range of the newest products from "Catherine Pooler designs" and I could not wait to create something with them.

To start my card I heat embossed the beautiful "Rondi's window background stamp" with "WOW" white embossing powder and then used Catherine's inks to colour it in with a blender pen.

I cut the Rondi's window background panel down and then on the main card card base stamped the bricks from the "Strolling borders" set using CP black jack ink.

Using the awesome set "Happy place" I create a little scene by colouring up a house and tree with added tyre swing with Copic markers and also stamped out the cute little dog.

They were all so fun to sit and colour!!

To finish off the card I added a large sentiment using the "Welcome word" die and some sentiments from the "Warm welcome" set, oh and of course some sequins hehe!!

Hope you enjoyed my latest creation using all these fab Catherine Pooler products, I sure had fun creating it!! Happy crafting everyone, Hugz Ashlee

I created a card using the Trinity stamp set "Magical wizards" and coloured up the images using my fave colouring medium Copics.

Trinity has an AMAZING selection of mixes to go in shakers so of course I had to use some and make this card a shaker filled with pretties!!

The mixes I used are

I also used the mix to create a background edging on the card to add more sparkle but unfortunately it really isnt visible in my photo (it was so hard to pick it up on the camera) but it is there lol!!

Read past your bed time....!!

Hi everyone....

I have a whole bunch of cards to share with you today that I created for the new stamp & colour kit from "Uniquely Creative"....

This kit is called "Read past your bedtime" and it also has lots of gorgeous add on products to work with it!!

My first card is made using only the kit stamps and products
(except for ink, copic markers and white cardstock)

I think this kit is absolutely perfect for the bookworms and anyone who loves anything to do with books...

My second card features one of the add on stamp sets called
"Selfie pals builder" along with the co-ordinating die.

I made it nice and simple just using black ink and a little yellow...
a card that is easy to recreate for many occasions

The sentiment is super lovely and that one is from the "Creative quotes" set.

This third card is a fun one for any gadget dinosaur lovers.... hehe!!
I used the new dies "Selfie frames" and "Stitched mountain range" along with the "Dino pals" stamp and co-ordinating dies to create this fun scene inside of the mobile phone!!

All the cool patterned paper is also included in the kit....

For my last card I used the main kit stamp along with the selfie frames die to create little polaroids for the girl to be on!

The background was created using distress oxide inks on black cardstock using a Uniquely Creative stencil.

For more information on each card, along with the copic colours used to colour you can find them all in the magazine included with the stamp & colour kits!!

I hope you enjoyed seeing all my kit cards...
Happy crafting, till next time Ashlee

Priceless....!!

Hey everyone...

Tonight I'm popping in to share with you a card I made with some fun goodies from "Create a smile"....

I wanted to create a nice friend card with the beautiful "Fine ferns" stamp set along with the sentiments from the "Friends like you" set. I thought this was a way of making a CAS card that would be easy to recreate and make multiples for different friends.

To start with I placed the large friend sentiment stamp on my card base just so I could see where I wanted to stand the outline images of the fine ferns...

Once I'd done that I used some "Catherine Pooler" inks to stamp the full coloured ferns. I just love the effect with the black outline that this gives and its so cool that this stamp set includes both the outline and block image!!

For the fine little sentiment I stamped and heat embossed it on some black cardstock with WOW white embossing powder.

I was really happy with the end result of this card, I hope you like it too.
I will be back soon with more Create a smile inspiration for you!!

Have fun crafting everyone, Hugz Ashlee.

XOXO....!!

Hi everyone....

I am up on the "Gerda Steiner blog" with the card I made using the super cute set
"Lovely Pandas"(co-ordinating dies also available).

I just adore this set, it can be used for many themes of cards!!

I used a couple of Catherine pooler inks for my background in the colours tutti frutti and bellini. I blended them until I was happy with the blend and the spritzed with water for a cool effect.

The panda is coloured with my fave medium Copics except for the balloon which I coloured with a WOW embossing pen and then heat embossed with sunset boulevard embossing powder.

The xoxo sentiment is also heat embossed with WOW opaque white powder.

I hope you enjoyed my latest Gerda inspiration.
Happy crafting, till next time Ashlee.

New CDD release...!!

Hi everyone....

There is a brand new release over at "Craftin desert divas" and it is super cute....
lots of perfect images to create cards for Easter!!

I've got four cards to share with you using some of the new release..
These first two are made using the "Eastercorn" set....

I also used the brand new die for this one called "Pop up rainbow" and its so cool..
You can use it as a pop up in the centre of a card or like I've used it by cutting off the tabs you can just it just as a regular flat die cut.

I used the pretty new sequin mix "blue diamond" to fill the shaker...

All the images I coloured up using Copic sketch markers.

This next card features an easter scene where I made it look like the little chick is painting the sentiment.....

The garden was done using the "garden border" die which I cut from white cardstock and then inked using distress oxide inks.

In the background I used the new stencil "sorted shapes 3"...
The stencil is so versatile as it includes four different patterns!!

Up next is a couple cards using the "Wooly lambs" stamp set...

The background for this one uses the "hearts galore" stencil with distress oxide inks...
I just love how vibrant it came out!!

The grass is the "Outdoor landscape" die also coloured with distress oxide.
To centre the lamb I framed it using a white cardstock die cut of the "Inside scalloped rectangle".

My last card features the brand new "Heart mandala" die and it is so beautiful, works perfect for a shaker card too!!

I also filled this one with the "Blue diamond" sequins mix.... its so pretty!!

I highly recommend you go and check out the new release, its AMAZING and for a limited time there is double reward points and a freebie stamp with qualifying purchases!!

Hope you enjoyed my post today full of CDD creations...
Happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee

Birthday poppies....!!

Hi everyone...

Im popping in to share with you a card I made using some gorgeous products from

For my main images I used the "Pure poppies" set and heat embossed them with WOW gold embossing powder. I then coloured them with Altenew and Jane davenport water brush markers.

Using the "Fine ferns" I stamped one of the leaves twice in a green ink and then cut them out to place behind the flowers...

The background was done using distress oxide inks with a splatter of water and black ink...

To finish the card off I added the "birthday" cool cut sentiment using black and white layers of cardstock and then of course some sequins and water droplets.

I hope you enjoy my Create a smile inspiration... Ill be back soon with more to share!!

Spread the love....!!

Hey everyone....

Valentines is just around the corner, have you started creating cards for your loved ones?...

I was super determined to make two of the "Hello Sweetums" stamp sets work together...
"Spread the love" and "Yeti set go". I thought they would be perfect to use for a fun valentine card for a friend!

I stamped images I wanted to use from both of the sets and played around with the positioning of the images and figured out a fun way for the Yeti to be holding the knife and jar without making it look too big for him.

The co-ordinating dies are super awesome because they cut out slits in the arms of the yeti so that he can be holding all sorts of goodies... Such a fun element of a die!!

The background of the card was made by stamping images from the spread the love set all over the base and then by using the matching pieces I stamped the jam with Distress oxide picked raspberry ink.

I hope you like my new Hello Sweetums card, Im sure to be back with more HS inspiration very soon!!

Friends forever....!!

Hey everyone....

Todays card is a fun one made using the super cute set "Wheek wheek, wheek
(co-ordinating dies also available) from "Gerda Steiner Designs".

I wanted to create a fun pile of lettuce for the little guinea to be amongst so I stamped, coloured and cut multiple lettuce leaves to put all around him....(all images coloured with Copic)

The background was done using a few different colours of distress oxide ink with a stripe stencil.

Using some WOW opaque white embossing powder I heat set the sentiment on a die-cut stitched strip.

To finish it off I added a touch of clear sparkle sequins....
I just love a little bling on my cards!!

I hope you like my latest Gerda Steiner inspiration!!
Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Exciting news..... Like a MANE-IAC!!

Hey everyone....

I have some VERY exciting news to share with you all, I have joined the fantastic design team at "Create a smile"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So here I am with my very first card as an official member of the CAS family.....
When I received my order of new CAS stamps I just had to create a jungle theme card but I also wanted to incorporate an embossed background with the fabulous Blossom stencil so the idea for my card all stemmed from that....

You can find all the instructions on how I created this card over at the Create a smile blog, hop on over and check it out!!

A little tip for today, stencils aren't just for ink blending....use your embossing ink pad and then heat emboss with a powder for an amazing result.

Create a smile products used : Clear Fine fernsClear Fur real and Blossom stencil.

Happy crafting everyone....

Hey....!!

Hey everyone....

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend,
It's an absolutely beautiful day here today.... sun shining!!

Im popping in to share with you my latest card using one of my favourite brands "Heffy doodle"... they have super adorable stamps, definitely worth checking out if you haven't seen them before!!

The cute images I have used on this one is from the set called "Hello squeak heart" and I thought they would be perfect to use on a hello card for a crafty friend!!

To create the background of the card I used the stencil "Candy store" and inked it with some distress oxide ink squeezed lemonade.

The central panel on the card is also inked with distress oxide squeezed lemonade and some wild honey then spirited with water for a fun splotchy effect.

How cool is the sentiment "Hey" die... I just love it!!

I wanted the mice to be having a little conversations so I used the "whatcha sayin" stamps with the "whatcha sayin" dies for speech bubbles.

Of course I finished off the card with sequins from the lovely "hbbrittneylee" etsy store.

Hope you like my latest Heffy creation, happy crafting Ashlee.

Fabulous....!!

Hey everyone....

I had a little play time in my craft room last night and I really wanted to test out the Altenew brush markers. I used an awesome mixed media stamp called "Ocean scribbles" from "Uniquely Creative" and heat set it with Metallic Gold rich embossing powder from "WOW".

It was so fun colouring in all the background with markers, I really like the result they give!

After colouring in all the images I used some distress oxide ink - Ground espresso around the edges and then splattered the base with opaque white paint.

The large flower is also a die from Uniquely Creative, once I die cut the two flowers out of the set I heat set them also with the same WOW gold embossing powder and then popped the "Fabulous" sentiment on top with some foam tape.

To finish it all off a touch of "Crystal clear" sequins from "Hbbrittneylee" etsy store.

Thanks for stopping by, Happy crafting....
