Deeply grateful....!!

Hello my fellow crafty friends...

I have a brand new card to share with you using the new set "Deeply" from "Gerda Steiner designs"...

I am totally in love with this fun set, and what about that adorable bear waving out of the submarine window... too cute!!

For this card I created an underwater scene with all the fishes swimming around the submarine...

To create the card I ink blended half way down the card base with some blue distress oxide ink in Mermaid lagoon and then stamped over the top of it using a create a smile stamp called ocean waves...

This gave me my water base...

I then added all my coloured pieces using some foam tape to give them layers of dimension!!

(All images coloured using Copic and Spectrum tri-blend markers)

To finish off the card I stamped the "Deeply grateful for you sentiment onto a postage edge circle die cut (also from create a smile) and then a touch of pretty sequins.....

I had so much fun creating the underwater scene card...
Totally going to be using this set for so many more cards, I really think its a must for any stamp collection!!

Happy crafting everyone, until next post...

Technique Tuesday and WOW! blog hop....!!

Hey everyone....

It's time for a fun blog hop with WOW! and Technique Tuesday!!

I've made a card for the hop using the super awesome die set "Berry basket" along with the "Sweet summertime" stamp set from Technique Tuesday and embossed pieces with WOW! powders

- Primary Apple red
- Metaline Greengage
- Opaque bright white

To start this card I stamped a plaid background using a stamp from Catherine Pooler half way on my card base using Rockin red CP ink. Then with a black die cut strip I added it to the top of the plaid background to create a little bench for my Technique Tuesday berry basket to sit on....

I die cut multiple of the strawberries and heat embossed them with my WOW! dual heat gun using the Apple red and Greengage powders.

Once the strawberries were all done I added them into the cutest little berry basket I've seen which I cut out with Neenah desert storm cardstock and slightly inked the edges with a brown ink.

To finish the card off I added a stamped sentiment to the top and then a bright white opaque embossed sentiment that I fussy cut out of black cardstock.
A touch of sequins too of course!!

To create this card I first masked off a panel of the card base with some post it tape and ink blended in from the side using Party dress CP ink...
Then using the background stamp "Wild thing" I stamped over the pink with Aquatini CP ink.

I stamped, coloured and then die cut the images from the I scream you scream set and then mounted them on the card using foam tape for dimension.

BEE - YOU....!!

Hey crafty friends...

Hope you are all well and having a crafting good time!!

I'm popping in tonight to show you a new card I made featuring the brand new release from "Create a smile stamps"....

For this one I used something from every new stamp set released this month...

along with a brand new die "Stitched rectangles"...

To start the card I ink blended half of the card base with a yellow ink and then splattered with a black ink mixed with a little water... because you know I had to go with the traditional bee colours of yellow and black!!

I then cut one of the stitched rectangle and stamped all over it with the stripe pieces from the mix and match patterns set...

I heat embossed a clematis flower using WOW! opaque bright white powder on vellum and adhered it with small pieces of glue in places that were going to be hidden under elements like the bee's which I popped on top of the flower with some foam tape for dimension....

A fun sentiment using the letters stamped on one of the smaller stitched rectangles along with some sequins for bling finished off the card....

This new release from Create a Smile is super awesome, you should totally check it out!!

Happy crafting everyone, Hugz Ashlee.

For my hop cards I have a couple to share with you using a beautiful new set called "Whimsical blooms" and a stencil "Flourish and whimsy"!!

This stamp set features lots of beautiful layering flowers and sentiments...

For the first card I ink blended half way up my card base using CP ink in It's a girl and Party dress. Then using the new stencil I lightly inked over the blended base with the same ink Party dress.

I die cut the co-ordinating flower shape from the whimsical blooms die set in white cardstock and placed it in my Misti to start stamping on the flower layers.
First layer using its a girl then the second layer party dress and for the leaves I used Aquatini. Once the flowers were all diecut/stamped I added them to the card base using some foam tape for dimension. Finished it off by stamping the sentiment in Midnight ink and a touch of CP sequins

Onto the second card....

This one is a one layer card all stamped straight onto the card base with CP inks..

To stamp the flowers on this one I used Pixie dust layered with Flirty fuchsia and the leaves/branches with Lime rickey. Sentiment Midnight ink.

Again finished this one off with a touch of CP sequins, these ones from the Vegas baby pot mix (They are sooo pretty, my absolute fave CP sequins mix for sure!!)
