Magnolia suitcase...

-Hi everyone, I have just finished a very fun creation...I loved making this and am very happ with the end result. The instructions for this gorgeous suitcase are in the summertime magnolia ink magazine.
Its something a little different and would be great for a gift.
Here it is...I hope you like it

This is the front of the suitcase...The fence is a magnolia doo hickey.
See the cute admit one and the tickets near the fence I was lucky to win those in a gorgeous candy a little while back, I love them!!

I love these flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, so cute and great quality...also very affordable!!

Close up of one of my coloured Tilda's...isnt she so sweet...?

This is the matching card that is stored in the inside of the suitcase...

The ribbon holds the card shut and when you open it inside is....

Tilda's kitty cat...!!

All the images are coloured using copics...The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and the key and shutter are from my stash.

Everyone should give this a try...they are so much fun to make...you could do so many different things with them, If you make one I'd love to see it, just leave me a comment with your blog address and I'll pop by :-)

Well till next time fellow crafters...

Your my Rainbow...

Hi fellow crafters...
Here is a card I have made using one of the gorgeous Tilda images from the sweet rainbow collection.
The sentiment " Thank you for being my rainbow on a cloudy day" is from the same collection.
I used a Tim holtz distress ink to make the edges on the image and the sentiment distressed.

The large flower is from Kaiser craft...and I have added an extra sparkle to them with some stickles.

The image is coloured using copics...

I used my little mini craft sewing machine to stitch the edges of the card and also the inside is stitched aswell...unfortunately this pic above was the only one i got kinda with the inside...as I knocked my lamp off the bench which I use for taking my photos and the globe no longer works....oops....!!

Thanks for stopping by

spring challenge at mad for markers...and a tutorial!!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well!!
Its time for a new challenge over at mad for markers and this fortnight its spring...
So I have done something a little different this time, I havent coloured an image, I have used my copic abs and air-brushed a beautiful coloured background...
Here it is....

I have a tutorial for you....

I have chosen three coloured copics...in this case YR04,R14,RV09 and a piece of xpress it paper.

First spray using whichever colour you would like first...

Then get your second colour and spray slightly over the first one...like this (above)

Then add your third colour in the same way...slightly over the second

continue doing this until the paper is covered...

I have used memento tuxedo black ink and the chosen a stamp to layer over the coloured background...

Once finished it should look like this... ;-)

I hope you have enjoyed my inspiration for the current challenge....and my first ever tutorial.
I cant wait to see what you create for the spring mad for markers challenge...remember to use your copics in your project!!
