The coolest....!!

Hey everyone....

I've got some new "Hello Sweetums" inspiration for you tonight and this time it features the super cool set "Anything is popsicle" (co-ordinating dies also available)

I thought it would be fun to create a patterned background using a stencil and WOW! embossing powder to pop behind these super cute popsicles...

To create the backgound I used the Catherine Pooler square dance stencil, placed it on a white card base and inked all over the stencil with WOW! embossing ink using a blending tool. Once I'd covered it all I removed the stencil and then covered in the embossing powder Serene, tipped off excess and heat embossed.

I used the same embossing powder to create a circle of colour behind the images too which was cut using a die called card front element builder from Sugarpea designs....

The popsicles were coloured with Copic and added to the card with some foam tape for dimension!!

I love adding sequins to finish off my cards so a touch of them and the card was done.

I hope you enjoy this card, happy crafting to all.

Thinking of you....!!

Hey everyone....

Today I have a new card using an awesome background stamp set from "Miss Ink stamps" called "Alice background"....

This background set is so cool because it comes with a large stamp along with a heap of different flowers, leaves and bee's as well!!

I wanted to try something different and stamp my images in a grey coloured ink instead of black. I then used my Altenew artist markers to colour in all the flowers and leaves!!

G702, G715, G554, S
R206, R318, R335

I heat embossed a sentiment on some black cardstock with opaque bright white embossing powder from WOW! ..

Added a touch of sequins for some bling too of course!!

I think the coloured piece just gives the card that bright pop of colour...
Hope you like it!!

Amazeballs...!!

Hey my crafty friends....

I've been having lots of fun this month playing around with the beautiful pearl powders from WOW!...

The pearl powders show up absolutely beautiful on darker coloured cardstock so for this card I have to share with you I thought I would use the Orange pearl on black cardstock with a stencil, and just look how pretty the colour is!!

The stencil I used for this is called "Backsplash" by Simon Hurley create...

I placed it over my black cardstock base and covered it in WOW! embossing ink with an ink blending tool, sprinkled over the Orange pearl, tipped off the excess and heat embossed!!

I added a few super fun sentiments to the card which I heat embossed using opaque bright white powder on black cardstock too!!

The sentiments are from a set by CZ design called "Best days"...

Of course I finished the card off with a touch of sequins....

Before I go I thought I'd remind you all we have a fun challenge over at the WOW! embossing powder fans group on Facebook and this month is Pearls...

I coloured us the gorgeous image with Copics and then mounted it onto the base with a double layer of glue dots....

Using some WOW! opaque bright white powder I heat embossed the "You always make me smile" sentiment on black cardstock, cut it into three pieces and mounted that on the card using foam tape for extra dimension....

A touch of sparkly sequins finished it off!!

I hope you enjoyed this new card, I sure had fun creating it...

Deepest Sympathy my friend....!!

Hey everyone...

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for my sweet friend...
It's always sad when I need to make these types of cards but I wanted to make her something pretty so she know's I'm thinking of her!!

I used a beautiful stamp set called "Gardenia" from "Miss ink stamps" for this one...

First off I started with a purple piece of cardstock and using some Catherine Pooler inks I created a blend on it with the shades Flirty fuchsia and Grape crush....

Then using some WOW! embossing powders I embossed multiple of the large flowers out of the gardenia stamp set and heat embossed them...

Unfortunately I don't have a complete colour list for my colouring, I thought I took note of them all but I missed the copics...oopsies sorry!!

ALTENEW MARKERS -
Leaves : G702, G715, G554, S
Buds : R702, R823, R705

To add a sentiment I heat embossed the "with deepest sympathy" out of the "Magnolia Sympathy" set using some opaque bright white powder on black cardstock....

I just love the effect of white embossing on black!!

To finish it off a touch of some beautiful Catherine Pooler Vegas baby sequins....

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting to all...

Fairytale wishes....!!

Hey everyone...

There is a brand new stamp & colour kit called "Fairytale wishes" coming very soon at "Uniquely creative" and this one if fit for any prince or princess!!

This first card I made using only products included in the kit...
So this shows the type's of cards you can make just using those specific pieces!!

A simple black stamped image on the base gives a great start to adding coloured elements that pop and also makes it quick to make multiple if you need to build up that card stash!!

I love clean and simple cards and these are certainly that...

For this next one I used a cute little froggy out of one of the add on stamp sets called "Fairytale princes"..

A feature sentiment along with the one colourful frog amongst the grey one's makes a fun card with a focal point!!

All images were coloured using Copic markers and you can find a full list of those used in the booklet included with the kit....

These kits are amazing value, full of craft goodies and I highly recommend them, they give you everything you need to create lots of fun cards!!

I will have more cards to share with you using these new products very soon, so keep an eye out for more UC inspiration from me!!

Hey alligator....!!

Hey everyone....

I have some new summery fun "Hello Sweetums" inspiration to share with you...

I created this beach scene card using the sweet little mouse from the "Baking buddies" set having a ball on the beach playing in the sand with the snappy crocodile from the

The background was done using a stencil from Altenew called Scallop builder which I ink blended then used embossing powder over one of the colour layers to give a shimmery effect....

Using the "Water waves" die I added a beach scene behind the coloured images so that they are sitting on the beach...

I coloured in the images with a mix of Copic and Spectrum Tri-blend markers which were all stamped on x-press it blending card with Memento tuxedo black ink...

A large focal sentiment and some water droplets perfect for a beach card finished it off....

For you....!!

Hey everyone...

How did you enjoy the stencil week at "Miss ink stamps" last week??!!

I have another card to share with you this week and this time I've used a stencil called "Mouse flower" from a previous release for a fun background on my card....

To create this one I used a royal blue cardstock and heat embossed the stencil design using some WOW! high heels powder for a beautiful sparkly finish!!

It's super easy to use stencils for heat embossing....
Just place your stencil onto your card, use your embossing ink through the stencil either direct to paper or with a blending tool, remove stencil, cover in embossing powder, tip off excess and then heat set!!

For the image on my card I used a beautiful ribbon from the "Springtime banners" set and coloured it with Copics C00, C1, C2, C4....

I added a sentiment to the ribbon from the "Decaf" background set and finished it off with a cute little bee from the "Alice" background set...

Oh and of course a touch of sequins which I attached using a fab product Glue dots in the Micro size, these are so handy especially when you don't like liquid glue for attaching sequins... these are mess free!!

Hope you enjoyed my latest Miss ink stamps inspiration!!

A-Z fun at StampNation....!!

Hey my friends...

There is an A-Z of fun happening at the moment over at "Catherine Pooler's" StampNation...

The creative team and some friends are sharing posts using all sorts of products and techniques that start with all the letters of the alphabet and today I am up with the letter O - Oxide inks!!

To create this card I first used a mask to mask off the oval, I then used some CP inks to blend onto the card base. Once the blending was done I used the "Cottage garden" background stamp and stamped over the top while the mask was still in place.

Using the distress oxide spray I unscrewed the top from the bottle and flicked the ink onto the card base, leaving a fun splatter effect.

I removed the mask and added a lovely sentiment!!

Using the "Sunshine flowers" set I coloured them up with Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers and then arranged the on the card base using foam for added dimension....

Finished off with some Catherine Pooler sequins for some bling!!

If your not a member of StampNation I highly recommend you check it out, it's such a fun crafty community full of ideas, techniques and of course lovely friends!!

Hope to see you there, Hugz Ashlee

WOW! Pearls...!!

Hey everyone...

It's the first of August which means the start of a brand new monthly challenge at the WOW! embossing powder fans group on Facebook...

Our theme this month is "PEARLS"...

WOW! has an amazing range of pearl embossing powders and they are so much fun, they work perfectly on black cardstock too!!

I've created a fun shaker card using some goodies from "Uniko" with Violet pearl and Gold pearl embossing powders...

I first stamped the "Pinstripe" background stamp twice on my card base and then die cut the "Originally organic" outline piece...

I then heat embossed the stamped image from the Originally organic set with Violet pearl powder on black cardstock, along with some of the add on little flowers in Gold pearl on black cardstock...

I then die cut them and fit them into the frame I cut out from the base!

I filled the shaker with a lovely sentiment from the same stamp set and some beautiful sequins....

That finished off my card, I hope you will come and join us in the challenge this month.
There is always a wonderful voucher for the WOW! store up for grabs for the lucky winner!!
