Heffy Friends Inspiration Blog Hop

Hey crafty friends...

Welcome to the Heffy Friends Inspiration Blog Hop!  For today's special Blog Hop, you can win a £50 voucher to the Heffy Doodle store!

I absolutely adore this new release, there is so many new goodies to create with but I just couldn't go past making an ark full of animals....

To create this card I started with a large white cardstock base and added a grass/sky scene with Distress oxide inks. I masked off the bottom portion of the card to do the grass and inked it up with Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness. I removed the mask and placed it over the grass so I could ink up my sky using Tumbled Glass and Prize Ribbon. To finish off the sky I added a splatter of opaque white paint!!

Using the Amazonian leaves die I die cut a bunch from green cardstock and inked them a little with Rustic Wilderness before adding them to my scene.

Time to make the ark....

Using a panel of white cardstock I did a blend of Distress Oxide inks in the colours Tea Dye and Gathered Twigs. I then mixed a bit of Gathered Twigs with water on a blending block so I could give it a good splatter with a brush!! This was now ready to die cut my pieces from the Boats and barns die....

I die cut the main pieces of the ark from the blended panel and then used different colours of cardstock to cut out all the rest. This was so fun to assemble and I think it's so awesome that you can make multiple different things from this one die set!!

Once the ark was all together and adhered to the scene it was time to fill it with a bunch of animals from the Two by two safari animals stamp set. ( I coloured all the images using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers and die cut with the co-ordinating dies)

The card was then completed with a Hey sentiment and a touch of sequins for that bit of bling.

To be entered to win the giveaway, all you need to do is comment at each stop along the Blog Hop before May 20th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST.  The winner will be announced on the Heffy Doodle Blog on May 21st at 10:00 AM EST!
