HAPPY birthday....!!

Hey everyone....

I've got a quick and easy card to share with you today using some clear WOW! embossing powder, Catherine pooler inks and some fun stamp sets from "Create a smile stamps" fun flowers and happy days!!

First I embossed three of the fun flowers on white cardstock with the clear WOW! embossing powder. Then using a mix of Catherine Pooler inks I blended some ink over the top of the embossed images. The ink resists to embossing leaving a cool effect!!

I finished the card off by stamping a sentiment with the happy days set in Memento tuxedo black ink and of course a touch of sequins!!

Hope you like it....

ROAR- some....!!

Hey everyone....

Are you ready for a ROAR - ing card??!!

I wanted to try out some pastel colouring with my Copics and I thought these super cute dinosaurs from the "prehistoric playmates" set by Hello Sweetums would be perfect!!

Once I coloured them up along with some of the trees and rocks I used the co-ordinating dies to cut them out....

The background was done using a stencil from Heffy doodle on neenah desert storm cardstock and I inked it with make art ink!!

I love heat embossing my sentiments with white opaque WOW! embossing powder, it works so well on any colour card!!

I just adore this sweet set from HS and there is so many more cuties available in the store too, you should totally check it out!!

Happy crafting everyone, Hugz Ashlee.

Make a mouse smile....!!

Hey everyone.....

I'm absolutely loving all the gorgeous images from "Miss ink stamps", they are super cute and so much fun to colour!!

For this card I used the set "Say cheese" and made a sun with the scene builder stencil....

I love the fun sentiments included in this set...
I used some WOW! opaque white powder and heat embossed "how do you make a mouse smile" on the front of the card and inside I will be putting the answer "say cheese"!!

For the Hello in the background I used a die from Pink fresh studio called "hello with botanicals"... I stencilled the sun from the scene builder with Catherine Pooler ink Peach Bellini and Limoncello onto the card base first before cutting out the die piece which makes part of the sun raised.

I hope you enjoyed todays card...
You can check out all the fabulous products available from Miss Ink stamps here at the store.

Hey everyone....

I hope those that celebrate have had a wonderful Easter weekend, it's been a lovely one for us here in Tasmania!!

Today I have a card using some new and old products from "Create a smile stamps"....

The beautiful leaves in the background are stamped using the new set "floral decorations", this set is so versatile and pretty!!

I co-ordinated the florals with a previously released set called "sharp one" and added them to the card base with some foam tape for dimension.....

I added a focal sentiment from the "happy days" set by stamping the "happy" directly onto my card base with some black ink and then using a strip of black cardstock I heat embossed the "for you" with opaque white WOW! embossing powder....

and of course a touch of sequins to finish it off!!

Hope you like it, Hugz Ashlee

Goat Mail....!!

Hey everyone....

I’ve got a card to share with you that I created using the gorgeous stamp set “Punny farm goats” along with the stencil “Halftone lines bold centre” from "Miss Ink stamps"....

To start the card I created the base using the stencil and some light grey ink blended onto white cardstock. The halftone lines bold centre stencil is so great for creating a subtle background to give a nice pattern to the card.

I thought it would be fun to have a whole heap of the little envelopes floating around so I stamped and coloured multiple of them and added them to the card base with some foam tape for a bit of dimension. All the images I coloured using Copic and Spectrum noir tri-blend markers.

How cute are these goats, I just had to add an envelope to the little guys mouth!!

Using the “You’ve goat mail” sentiment also from the Punny farm goats set I heat embossed it on black cardstock using some WOW! opaque white embossing powder.

To finish off the card I love adding a bit of bling with some pretty sequins!!

I just know I’m going to be making so many cards using this set for all my crafty friends that love some happy mail!!

I  really hope you enjoyed my card and feel inspired to create with these fab products!!

Hey everyone...

I have a "Gerda Steiner" card to share with you using the funny new set "Chicken scratch"
(co-ordinating dies also available)....

This set is full of super cute chickens and an adorable piggy along with some awesome sentiments that match the animals perfectly!!

I created a fun colourful background by using a range of "Catherine Pooler" inks splattered with water for a splotchy effect. Then using white cardstock, I cut out the two co-ordinating layer dies quatrefoil 1 and 2 from Paper rose.

The sentiments are heat embossed using "WOW!" opaque white embossing powder on black cardstock...
and the cute Gerda image is coloured up using Copics!!

Of course to finish off the card a touch of clear sequins....

Hope you enjoy my post this week, happy crafting everyone.

Spectacular birthday...!!

Hey everyone....

I'm up on the blog at "Create a smile stamps" today with a fun birthday celebration card using a stencil with embossing powder!!

Here is some steps on how I created this card....

First blend some distress oxide inks to create an ombre look.
Place "blossom" stencil over the card base and use some embossing ink to fill in the stencil.
Remove stencil and cover in an embossing powder of choice (I used Fools gold WOW embossing glitter for this one) then heat set with heat gun.
Using some opaque white paint mixed with water splatter over the base.
Stamp sentiments from "Mini birthday stamp set" onto black cardstock strips using embossing ink and heat set with WOW opaque white regular powder.
Using foam tape attach the sentiments to the card base.
Finish off with a touch of sequins.

I hope you all like it...
I really enjoy the awesome finish you get using embossing powders with stencils!!
