Hey there friends....
Who's ready for a Christmas card with pretty bling?! You know I love my bling and this one has a very pretty touch of sparkle to it!
Are you making progress with your Christmas cards? Should I tell you there is only 4 more Friday's to go before the big man is here......
I used these Heffy Doodle products to create this card :
Winter forest backdrop die (a2)
Tinsel town patterned paper pad
I started creating my card by selecting a piece of patterned paper from the Tinsel town pad. I then die cut it using the winter forest die. Once I die cut it I adhered it to my card front base.
I wanted this card to have a beautiful glitter focal point so.....
IT'S TIME TO BRING ON THE BLING!
I used the scallop frames die to die cut a super sparkly frame from a beautiful white glitter cardstock. I then adhered it to the pattern paper using foam tape to start adding dimension to my card.
now my card base was ready it was time to add a fun Christmas scene....
I stamped, coloured and die cut a whole bunch of images from the fireside dreams and trim the tree sets. These were all coloured using OLO and Spectrum noir tri-blend alcohol markers with added white pen highlights.
I adhered them all in place with varying levels of foam tape to create my scene.
To finish off the card I die cut a speech bubble from the look who's talking set and stamped a sentiment rom the holiday sentiments set using Memento tuxedo black ink. Of course it also needed a touch more bling, sequins from the Heffy sparkle mix!
That's all for my card today, I really hope you like it and hopefully if you haven't started your Christmas cards yet it inspires you to get crafty. Till next post happy crafting, Hugs Ashlee.
