Who's ready for some Hauntingly sweet inspiration using the set from Pawsome stamps?!
I just love these sweet little candy corns all dressed up in their costumes. I haven't used any on this card today but this set also pairs super well with the new set Candy corn dress up....
To create this card I used a stencil with Distress oxide inks (Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet and Villainous Potion) to create my background. Once I'd inked the colour I gave it a mottled effect by spritzing with water.
Using WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder I heat embossed the sentiment from the XL Halloween greetings set on black card stock before fussy cutting around it and adhering to the card base using foam tape!
I stamped coloured and cut out 6 of the candy corns and arranged them onto the card. These were all coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers with a touch of white gel pen for highlights. To complete the card a touch of pretty sequins from Wicked Potion mix!
