Hey there crafty friends....
I am SUPER excited to be a guest designer for the brand new release at
Alex Syberia designs this month and let me tell you the release is absolutely stunning!!
Today I'm sharing a card I made using the Pureland fan stencil, Petit periwinkles die and For her sentiments stamp set....
To create this one I first started with a dark grey card stock base that I inked the Pureland fan stencil onto using CPD Black Jack ink fading it out in towards the centre....
I then die cut and assembled a whole bunch of Petit Periwinkle's so that I could use them on other cards too. They are so pretty I just love them!!
Some of the flowers I adhered using foam tape to give the flower some petals that popped up off the card base. I used two of the largest arrangements from the die set and adhered them onto the card base. Using a white gel pen I also added some highlights to the flowers....
Using the For her sentiments I chose the Sending love one and heat embossed it on black card stock using WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder before cutting it out using the co-ordinating dies....
This was adhered using foam tape giving the card lots of dimension!
To complete the card I added a touch of sequins because if you know me I love sequins, I feel they just finish off a card so nicely even with the smallest amount!!

ReplyDeleteHow impressive and striking are those flower colors on a dark background. Anxious to try creating the background on a dark gray with black ink stenciled design.
