Love and wishes....!!

  Hey crafty friends...

I've got a card to share today featuring the beautiful flowers from the "Happy bee-day" stamp set (One of my absolute fave GSD sets) along with a heat embossed sentiment from the "Sending hugs" stamp set both from Gerda Steiner Designs....

I love being able to to add bold embossed sentiments to my cards, It's always such a lovely result when heat embossing them!!

The sentiment is embossed with WOW! metallic gold rich pale embossing powder....

The flower images were stamped directly onto a white card base with some ink splatters over the top. I then added the sentiment that I fussy cut and finished it off with some Pinkfresh rhinestone!!

Whale party....!!

 Hey everyone...

I've got a new slimline card to share today and this one uses the stamp set called "A whale of a time" from Gerda Steiner designs which happens to be retiring so if you have your eyes on this set snap it up while you can!!

For this card I started with a base of synthetic paper and inked it up with some alcohol inks and used a felt blender to create a fun effect...

I then got a piece of watercolour cardstock and did some watercolour effects with Twilight Catherine Pooler ink before stamping on some of the cute whales from the whale of a time set!!

I fussy cut them out and added to the base with foam tape for dimension. 

For the sentiments I heat embossed with WOW! Silver embossing powder on black cardstock and fussy cut that also. Using some more WOW! embossing powder I heat embossed a couple pieces of white cardstock one with a mix of WOW! powders that I mixed together and the other using Bubblicious a new powder from the "Pink-a-licious" trio...

Using the embossed pieces I die cut the party die from each piece and then layered the pieces inside for two different colours!!

I finished it off with a touch of sequins, my usual last touch to nearly all my cards hehe...

Round of Happy....!!

Hey my crafty friends...

I'm loving the awesome collection Make a wish from "Catherine Pooler"....

It's full of so many products perfect for making birthday and celebration cards!!

So for this card I used the new die Round of Happy to create a sparkly purple birthday card....

To create this one I started with a purple cardstock base and stamped a design from the "Off the wall backgrounds" stamp (this stamp set is from the Creative thinking collection) set using the ink colour Serene...

I then die cut the round of happy from white and black cardtsock so I could use pieces from each colour. With the inside circle piece I heat embossed it with WOW! embossing powder Hope and positivity....

This embossing powder is a new one from WOW!'s latest release and it is so, SO pretty, such a gorgeous mix and the sparkle is off the rails!!

To complete the card I added some sequins that I adhered with glue dots...

I'm here today to share with you my Canvo spreads ready for August!!

Club Canvo is a subscription service by Catherine Pooler where each month you receive Canvo based products in your mail box ready to do spreads for your following month...

It's perfect for getting your pages prepped and ready to go!!

This months goodies are so fun and summery that I couldn't resist doing the spreads in bright cheery colours... with Catherines ink pads of course!!

I like doing a page with the days dates and having a little space on each date to write little notes or memories for that day...

How cute is that adorable little bicycle??!!

A space to write any notes or to-do's...

(Used Weekly seven stencil)

This last to-do page was done using the Week in the sun stencil....

I used Catherines ink blending brushes with stencils to add ink blended patterns and backgrounds...

WOW! Winter forest....!!

 Hey my crafty friends...

Today I am popping by with a new card I made using the brand new WOW! Embossing release!!

Verity has designed some amazing stamps for this release and the Winter forest background is absolutely stunning...

I couldn't resist embossing this one in Metallic gold rich powder on the pretty blue cardstock that I also added some depth with by using Catherine Pooler inks...

I also added a metallic gold rich embossed sentiment by using the christmas sentiments set also designed by Verity on black cardstock and fussy cut around the main sentiment, strips for the others... 

To finish this one off I added some Pinkfresh Studio gems in a beautiful blue shade...

I love how the gold WOW! Embossing just pops on this one, what do you think??

WOW! Fab foil on die cuts....!!

 Hey crafty friends...

I have a brand new post up on the "WOW! Embossing blog" as part of the WOW! creative team and this card features some awesome WOW! Fab foil along with embossing powder and awesome stamps!!

I wanted to create a happy card using the lovely fern background designed by Verity so I stamped that using twilight ink on a purple Cardstock base before backing with black cardstock....

I then added a sentiment embossed with Opaque bright white embossing powder on black Cardstock!!

Using a piece of cardstock covered in double sided adhesive I die cut the CPD happy sentiment die and then covered in WOW! Fab foil ice blue.... 

I made sure to burnish over the foil so that I knew it was stuck down well before removing the excess foil.

I just love how super shiny the WOW! Fab foil is!!

I backed the happy die cut with another one cut from black cardstock that I off set slightly to add a shadow. it was then attached to the card base with some foam tape. 

Finishing off the card with a touch of CPD sequins!!

Make a wish with Catherine Pooler Designs....!!

 Hey friends...

It's time for a brand new collection release at "Catherine Pooler Designs"....

This new collection is called Make a wish and is coming to the store on 13th July (a day early for StampNation members)!!

So for my post today I'm sharing some cards that I've made using the awesome 

"Doxie party" bundle....

For my first cards I created a matching set of doxie cards...

This set of cards also features the "Big happy" stamp set... 

This stamp set is full of sentiments in large and smaller sizes!!

These little sausage dog stamps are just the absolute cutest and they are so much fun to dress up in their little clothes and accessories....

For my next card I made a slimline using three of the brand new ink colours....

Yep you heard that right, there is another 4 inks releasing this collection to complete the beach retreat inks!!

Serence, Sparkling berry, Clay mask and Merlot....

To create my slimline base I used the "Post this" slimline die along with the "Round of happy" die and some pretty designer paper from the "Cupcakes and candles" paper pack!!

I added on a couple of the sausage dogs with foam tape for dimension and finished it all off with a touch of CPD sequins....

This new bundle is just so much fun, I hope you enjoyed my cards...

It's the season for abstract pink....!!

 Hey friends...

There has been a brand new release over at the "WOW! Embossing" UK store (coming to the US store soon) and holy moly it is amazing....

The release is full of gorgeous powders, stamps and stencils!!

I created this card using the "abstract triangles" stamp designed by Natasha Davies and embossed it with "Metallic gold rich embossing powder" on pink cardstock before inking with some Catherine Pooler inks...

I thought it would be fun to add pops of embossed triangles in the background so I embossed a piece of WOW! cardstock with bubblicious powder from the "pink-a-licious trio by Jo Herbert" and die cut a bunch of little triangles from it to adhere with foam tape inside the stamped/embossed triangles!!

I then stamped some sentiments from the "It's the season" stamp set with Metallic gold rich embossing powder on black cardstock before fussy cutting the large sentiment and a little strip for the sub sentiment!!

I finished it all off with some pretty Catherine Pooler sequins...
