Hey there crafty friends...
Today I'm here to share a card I made using a bunch of products from the brand NEW release at Heffy Doodle. Woohoo!!
There is SO many awesome new products in this release to make our crafty heart's happy and let me tell you they are all SO much fun to create with....
For this card I used these Heffy products :
- Free not yet released Happy camper set (All pre orders from 18th-25th September will include the free set, spend over 45 and receive the co-ordinating dies free too!)
- Camping critters
- Camping critters co-ordinating dies
- Trendy tree angles stencil
- Alpine valley dies
- Thinking of you die
- Scalloped imperial frames die
To create this card I started with a green card stock base that I added stencilling to using the Trendy tree angles stencil and distress oxide inks Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover.
I then die cut hills from the alpine valley set and adhered it to the bottom portion of the card. Using a darker green card stock I die cut a scalloped frame and adhered that over the hills using foam tape so it started to add dimension to my card.
Using the thinking of you die I die cut the shadow piece from white card stock and partially inked/splattered. The wording was die cut twice, once from black card stock and once from green so that they could be adhered together offset creating a shadow. I glued them all together and adhered to the card basest the top of the frame.
Do you know what time it is?! It's time to BRING ON THE BLING!
I wanted a bunch of glittery green trees so I covered a piece of plain white card with double sided adhesive. I removed the protective sheet and covered the whole piece in WOW! bio degradable glitter Kelp. I just love how pretty and sparkly it is, it was now ready to die cut the trees from!
I die cut three off the tree and adhered them in place on different areas of the card creating a little forest scene ready for a cute critter of course....
I stamped, coloured and die cut the Happy camper van and critter/lamp from the Camping critters set before adding them to the scene (these were all coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers). To complete the card a touch more bling from a Heffy Doodle Sparkle mix!
Thanks so much for checking out my card today, I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the new products in action....
Until next post happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.
