WOW! stamp background....!!

Hey everyone....

I'm up on the "WOW! embossing blog" today with this fun card using some "WOW!" stamps to create a beautiful background and layered image for my focal images from Concord & 9th stamp set "Mail drop"!!

WOW! has a range of different stamps and I just love these two that I have used for this card...

The large background panel is the Tropical background stamp and then the flower at the front is from the beautiful stamp set.

It's so much fun to create an ink blended panel and then emboss over the top with embossing powder...

I used Catherine Pooler Limoncello and It's a girl ink to do the blend and then WOW! opaque bright white powder embossed over the top!!

For a couple step by step pictures of the background you can hop on over to the WOW! blog and check it out along with all the other details about this card....

I hope you like it and get inspired to get creating with your WOW! stamps and embossing powder!!

Monster fun....!!

Hey everyone....

I have some new "Gerda Steiner" inspiration for you today and this time it's using the set "Monster fun" to create a birthday card!!

(Gerda Steiner is closed at the moment for a summer break but they will be re-open on the 17th of July)...

For my card I used a stencil from MFT to create inked hearts on the background and then using some distress oxide spray in Wilted Violet I added splatters all over it!!

I coloured in my selected images with Copics and then added them to my card base with some foam tape for dimension.

To give the monsters eye a fun effect I added on a little wobbly eye...

This created a simple but fun birthday card!!

Hope you like it, Hugz Ashlee

Magnolia tiles....!!

Hey everyone....

I've got some "Miss Ink stamps" inspiration of a different kind tonight...

I thought it would be fun to try out some alcohol inks on tiles and then heat emboss some beautiful flowers from the "Magnolia sympathy" set on top.

I used Metallic gold rich powder from WOW! for the embossing....

I just love how the colours turned out and I was certainly fun to try something new....

The tiles I used were just plain white gloss tiles that I got from my local hardware store.
I then just went directly onto the tiles with my alcohol inks and worked with them until I was happy with the result.

The heat embossing I did the exact same way I would have as if it were on paper...
Stamped the image with WOW! embossing ink, tipped on the powder, tipped off the excess and then heat set.

I hope you think about giving something like this a try...

You're so sweet....!!

Hey my crafty friends....

I have some "Hello Sweetums" inspiration to share with you all using a super adorable set from the brand new release "Baking buddies" (co-ordinating dies also available)!!

I just adore this set, it's full of the most cutest little mice and baking goodies/tools....

For the base of this card I used Neenah desert storm, it's one of my fave cardstocks...

Using a stencil I ink blended some worn lipstick distress oxide ink on the base and then using the same stencil I heat embossed on the smaller rectangle panel with WOW! diamond white embossing powder.

I stamped, coloured and die cut the little images and arranged them on the rectangle die cut piece with foam tape for dimension....

I added the "you're so sweet" sentiment also from the baking buddies set....

A touch of some beautiful sequins from Catherine Pooler finished the card off with a bit of sequin sparkle!!

I hope you enjoy this card, Happy crafting...
