To you and yours....!!

Hey friends...

I've been having a blast with the latest "This Christmas" release from Catherine Pooler Designs...
Have you got your hands on some of the new goodies?!

For this card I used the pretty Christmas trees from the wrapped and ready stamp set and heat embossed three of them onto a red cardstock with WOW! gold embossing powder!!...

Once I embossed them I used some CPD Twilight ink to add some depth over each tree...

I finished the card off with a heat embossed sentiment on black cardstock and a touch of Pinkfresh jewels for a bit of bling!!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this card and it inspires you to try a different way of using your stamps than stamping with ink and colouring...

Sweet potato....!!

Hey friends...

I'm back with another card using the fun Yam's and Corn stamp set from Gerda Steiner designs....

This one is a CAS design where I used a stencil on the card base to create some ink blended lines with CPD ink and then above I added the You're my sweet potato sentiment stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink!!

I stamped two Yams also with the same Memento ink and then coloured them with alcohol markers from Parkoo shop...

To finish the card off I added some sequins for a tiny little bit of bling!!

I hope you enjoyed this CAS design and feel inspired to get crafty...
Till next time, hugs Ashlee

You're a-maize-ing....!!

 Hi friends...

I have some new inspiration for you today using the awesome new set Yams & Corn from Gerda Steiner designs...

These corn images are just the cutest aren't they, such fun little characters I couldn't wait to colour them up and get them on a card!!

For this one I wanted to create a slimline card so I could fit on three of the sweet corns...

I coloured up all the images using Parkoo shop alcohol markers...

The background paper I made by stamping one of the stamps from the Yams and Corn set onto yellow cardstock with some CPD ink!!

The sentiment is embossed on black cardstock using WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder, I love using this technique for sentiments on my cards...

(All the dies used to create this card are from Uniquely Creative)

I hope you enjoy this new card, I will be back with another card using this stamp set this week so keep an eye out for that too!!

Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee

Snowflake....!!

 Hi friends...

I have been having some fun using some stencils and stamps with my WOW! embossing powders....

I wanted to create a super sparkly snowflake as the main feature on the card so I used the gorgeous WOW! Icicle teal powder from the Winter dreams trio by Martina with the Snowflake stencil by Verity and embossed it onto some off white cardstock that has a slight fleck in it!!

I just love this beautiful Icicle teal, isn't it so sparkly and gorgeous!!

One of my favourite ways to use the WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder is to use it to emboss my sentiments on black cardstock....

It's such a crisp way of adding a sentiment that pops!!

For this sentiment I used the WOW! stamp set Merry sentiments also designed by verity....

Both the stencil and the stamp were started using some WOW! ultra slow dry ink, this is a fabulous ink for embossing. It stays sticky for quite some time giving you a great time frame to get your powder on!!

I finished the card off by adding a touch of pink fresh jewels that I attached using some glue dots.

I have a reel with all the steps of how I created this card up on my instagram if you would like to check it out at @ashbie1412 and It will also be available on the WOW! instagram!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope I inspired you to get your stencils out to emboss with your powders. Happy embossing Ashlee

Superstar challenge - CAS

Hey everyone....

The Superstar challenge is happening at MFT at the moment so I thought I'd create a card for the CAS - Clean and simple genius category.

I wanted to create a vibrant galaxy like snowy sky for the background so that all the elements had a base to pop from so I started with a piece of watercolour cardstock and masked off the area I wanted to ink blend on....

I blended a mix of rainbow coloured inks and then added black ink around the edges before splattering with some white paint!!

I then used the tiny houses dienamic and cut multiple pieces from different coloured MFT cardstock to build the scene...

To give the scene dimension I adhered them using different levels of foam tape!!

It was them time to add the super duper cute little penguin from the polar opposites set that I coloured with alcohol markers....

To finish it all off I added the sentiment also from the polar opposites stamp set and a touch of sequins for bling!!

I hope you enjoy my creation and it inspires you to get crafty for the challenge too, Hugs Ashlee.

This Christmas at CPD....!!

 Hey crafty friends....

It's time for a brand new release at Catherine Pooler and this one is called "This Christmas"!!

It's also time to start getting those Christmas cards prepped for the festive season because it is going to be Christmas time again before we know it....

The new release is full of fabulous products to help us get those cards done!!

I have three cards to share with you today and these ones all use the Wrapped and ready stamps along with the Near or far sentiments....

This first card I started with a base of the gorgeous pattern paper from the Decked out pattern paper pack. I then stamped and heat embossed the cute bug car onto some black cardstock using WOW! Opaque bright white powder and then cut out with the co-ordinating die.
To finish it off I added a sentiment also embossed on black cardstock that I fussy cut and then a touch of CPD sequins!!

Onto the next two cards....

These two were quick and simple designs starting with a white cardstock base
I stamped the images directly onto the base and gave a splatter with CPD Midnight ink!!

A sentiment on each along with some sequins and a touch of WOW! sparkles finished them off...

I think these two designs would be so super quick and easy to recreate multiple times when needing to make a whole bunch of Christmas cards...

The This Christmas release will be available for purchase on Wednesday (day previous for StampNation members)

I hope you enjoy my inspiration and it got you feeling a little festive. I will be back soon with more creations from this release!!

Crafty hugs, Ashlee

Embossing on washi with WOW!

 Hey WOW! friends...

I have a new card to share with you featuring embossing on washi tape...
This is the first time I have tried embossing on washi, have you tried it?

I thought it would be fun to do a whole card base of washi and emboss one of the new WOW! stamps over the top. So for this one I used a base of Altenew pink watercolour wide washi over white cardstock and embossed the Abstract triangles stamp over the top by stamping with WOW! ultra slow dry ink and using WOW! metallic silver embossing powder....

I then embossed a piece of cardstock using the absolutey gorgeous powder Bubblicious from Jo's new trio Pink-a-licious and die cut three butterflies from a set by A pocket full of happiness called Fly away with me, I just love these beautiful butterflies!!

I then added them over the top of the washi card base ...

Using the die Hey there also by A pocket full of happiness I die cut the base layer of the wording from black cardstock and the top layer from a piece of cardstock embossed with WOW! metallic silver...

I glued the two layers together with Bearly arts glue and then added them over the butterflies using some foam tape for added dimension before finishing the whole card off with a touch of jewels!!

I will have a reel with all the steps showing how I created this card over on the socials if you would like to check it out....

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my latest WOW! creations, hugs Ashlee
