Thankyou slimline....!!

 Hey my lovely friends...

I have some new inspiration for you using one of my all time favourite sets by "Gerda Steiner"... Happy bee-day!!

I love making slimline cards, they are so much fun...

You should totally give making one a try if you haven't yet!!

For this card I used some slimline dies by Uniquely Creative to make my bases...

The main base is cut from watercolour cardstock which I masked the edges on and did a yellow/orange ink blend with Catherine Pooler inks!!

Then stamped on the beautiful flowers from the Happy bee-day stamp set and coloured them with Karin brush marker pro's...

I finished off the card by stamping on the sentiment and attaching some sequins for pretty bling using micro glue dots!!

Club Canvo APRIL spreads....!!

Hey everyone....

I've got my Canvo spreads ready for April to share with you today that I did using the latest Club Canvo shipment from "Catherine Pooler"!!

To create this first spread I used the "Skipping stones" stencil and Cummerbund CP ink so that it looks like water circles that I could add my month and sentiments too along with a month calendar...

The second spread is my full month spread using the "Month in circles" stencil, Cummerbund ink and my CP blending brushes....

I used a black pen to write on the day/date!!

How Cool are the fishies from the "Koi pond" stamp set...

I used my CP inks and a blender pen to colour them all in!!

These spreads also used the Skipping stones stencil....

I wanted them to look like a little pond scene with rocks, water flowers and of course the swimming fishies!! 

For my last spread I wanted a simple page where I could add in any extra notes or to-do's for the month...

I used some stamps from the "April reflections" set!!

Colourful heart slimline....!!

Hey everyone...

I was inspired by the latest challenge at "Scrapbook.com" so while the baby was having a nap I got in a little crafty playtime and created this slimline card using some "Spellbinders" dies and hotfoil stamps...

This die is from the February "Large die of the month club" and I just love that it has the hearts that you can layer in multiple colours!!

With the small white hearts I popped up every second one with foam dots to add some extra dimension....

The sentiment is a Spellbinders hotfoil stamp "Yana's sentiments" cut out with the co-ordinating die...

I added a touch of CPD Tinseltown sequins to finish it all off because I can't help but add sequins as a finishing touch to all of my cards, love me some bling!!

 I hope you enjoy this colourful slimline card as much as I enjoyed creating it...

Hello positivi-tea....!!

 Hey my friends...

I've got some new "Gerda Steiner" inspiration for you all...

My card today uses one of the latest released stamp sets "Positivi-tea" which I think is my new fave GSD set (Oh gosh who am I kidding, I love every GSD set hehe)!!

"Co-ordinating dies" also available for the stamp set...

I created a colourful background by using a die from Pinkfresh studio to cut the strips and then mounted them using foam strips to add dimension....

I added sentiments from the same GSD stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink above and below the strips...

It was then time to add the coloured images that I coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers and finished it all off with some sequins!!

I hope you like this positive card and feel inspired to get creative...

Spring Garden release at Catherine Pooler....!!

Hey everyone....

Guess what time it is??!!

Time for a brand new mini collection release at "Catherine Pooler Designs"!!

This collection is called Spring Garden and it includes some fabulous products to get your cards ready for Easter....

I made some card to share with you using the "Spring into easter stamp set" (Co-ordinating dies also available) and the "Spring borders stamp set"!!

For this first card I stamped the bunny border multiple times with different colours of CP ink and then added a sentiment using Midnight ink underneath...

Onto the next card I coloured up three of the super cute bunny images from the Spring into easter set and coloured them up using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers before using the co-ordinating dies to cut them out....

A couple of pastel strips of cardstock die cut from the "Mod strips" die to match the coloured images finished off with a sentiment and a touch of CP sequins!! 

I used the "Mod strips" die on this one too to create a fun coloured background before adding on a bunch of coloured images from the Spring into easter set also coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers....

Finished off with a sentiment down the bottom of the card base using Midnight ink and a touch of sequins for bling!!

For my last card I thought it would be fun to do the bunny as a shaker so I used the co-ordinating die to cut the bunny shape from the top card base.

I then used a piece of watercolour cardstock ink blended with CP inks with the rabbit stamped on top for inside the shaker...

I filled it up with CP sequins and added a sentiment Spring has sprung!!
