Club Canvo - March spreads....!!

Hey everyone...

I've got all my spreads ready to go for the new month coming up March using all the latest Club Canvo goodies from "Catherine Pooler"! 

if you haven't heard of Club Canvo before what it is is a monthly subscription service where you get two stamp sets and a stencil arrive in your mail box for your journalling (stamps are suited for the month ahead so you can prepare your spreads for the following month) ...

I coloured the beautiful flowers and other images in my March spreads using some Catherine Pooler inks and a blender pen....

A habit tracker page with a touch of beautiful butterflies....

Lots of space to keep track of everything!!

I used the stencil included in this months parcel to create ink blended backgrounds to add touches of colour and also where I can write notes for each day of the month....

CP now has her own "ink blending brushes" and let me tell you they are absolutely gorgeous and work super well...

They are a lovely size and also have white bristles so you can easily see what colour ink your using for each brush!!

I had lots of fun getting my spreads ready to go...

You're my cup of tea....!!

  Hey everyone...

I've got a new card to share with you using one of the most recent release stamp sets from "Gerda Steiner" "Positivi-tea"....

I just love this gorgeous new set and the cute little mouse holding onto it's cuppa was calling for a card!!

I created an ink blended heart for the background using a stencil from Catherine Pooler called Radiant heart and then stamped on parts of the sentiment using black ink...

The large friend word is a die cut from Heffy Doodle that I cut using black cardstock!

I finished the card off using some pretty sequins for a touch of bling...

More Coffee break....!!

 Hey everyone,

I'm here today to share with you my second lot of inspiration for the current challenge at WOW! Embossing "Coffee Break"!!

I have had this coffee bean embossing folder in my stash for a suuuuppperrr long time so I thought I should get it out and use it....

I created the base by using some Neenah desert cardstock and inked part way up from the bottom with some CPD ink and then ran through the embossing folder!!

I added an embossed sentiment using WOW! Opaque bright white placed over a die cut embossed piece using Silly's fog inspired by Alexandra Renke....

I die cut a couple cute coffee cups using the die "Mini cafe all day" from MFT and embossed pieces of them using WOW! Metallic brass!!

Finished it all off with a touch of pretty CPD sequins....

Bee happy....!!

  Hey friends....

I have a new card to share with you using the super fun stamp set "Happy bee day" from "Gerda Steiner Designs"....

I just love this stamp set, it would have to be one of my favourites!!

To create this card I started with a base of watercolour cardstock and ink blended down the piece using some Catherine Pooler inks.... 

For a fun effect I gave it a splatter of Midnight ink mixed with a little water!!

I then stamped some of the beautiful flowers from the Happy bee day set directly onto the card base with some tuxedo black ink....

I coloured up the bee, cut it out with my brother scan n cut machine and then added it to the base with some foam dots for dimension!!

This bee worked perfectly with the sending smiles sentiment die from SSS...

My favourite touch to finish off a card is sequins so of course I added a mix of blingy gold tones!!

Coffee break....!!

Hey everyone...

There is a brand new challenge at "WOW! Embossing" and this month our theme is 

"Coffee break"!! 

You can come and join us in the challenge either by using the #wowembossingchallenge or popping over to the WOW! Facebook fans page and sharing what you create with us....

Just by entering you have a chance at winning a shopping voucher to the WOW! store!!

Here are a couple cards I made to get you inspired with the current theme....

For this one I created a coffee splatter on the base by using a stencil from Create a Smile stamps called "Splotch" and then added some details to it using WOW! Earth sparkles Sargassum...

The chipboard sentiment is embossed with a super cool new powder inspired by Alexandra Renke called WOW! Silly's fog....

(Chipboard is by Make it crafty, unfortunately they are no longer trading) 

I finished off the card with some Catherine Pooler sequins attached using Glue dots from Columbus Trading!!

This second card uses another of the chipboards embossed with WOW! powder but this time using Ulla's Cognac powder inspired by Alexandra Renke....

I started by using an MFT background stamp "Crosshatch polka dot" to do the card base and then added the embossed chipboard sentiment to it....

I then used a die also from MFT "Mini cafe all day" to do the cute coffee cup which I embossed parts of using WOW! Primary bark embossing powder....

Once I assembled the pieces of the coffee cup I added that using some foam dots so I could pop it up off the card base and the sentiment!!

All finished off with some Catherine Pooler sequins...
