I have some new "Gerda Steiner" inspiration to share with you today with a brand new card using the super adorable "Valentine cats"... (Co-ordinating dies also available)

To create this card I first started with a white card base and using an MFT stencil I ink blended using Distress Oxide inks in the colours Mustard seed and Picked raspberry...

The two Valentine cats are coloured up using C Copic markers and added to the card base using foam tape for dimension!!

WOW! embossing powders and background stamps....!!

Hey my friends...

I have a set of cards to share today using a couple of techniques with "WOW! embossing powders" and background stamps!!

This set of cards shows two different ways of adding WOW! powders to background stamps...

For this first card I stamped the Catherine Pooler Desert diamond background stamp with WOW! slow dry embossing ink and then using the two powders Primary Blue Topaz and Primary Fuchsia Fusion I added stripes of colour at a time, tipping off the excess after each line of colour was added....

When you heat set it it gives you some pretty mixes of both colours in between!!

For the second card I stamped the same Catherine Pooler Desert diamond background using WOW! slow dry embossing ink and using Primary Fuchsia Fusion I added on patches of this colour powder before flipping my card base to tip off the excess...

Then using the Primary Blue Topaz I covered the rest of the background panel!!

I just love the result that it gives when mixing more than one colour powder....

I added some embossed sentiments to both cards by using WOW! Opaque bright white on black cardstock...

Below is a photo with the powders I used to create this set of cards, you might like to try these WOW! colours out too...

I hope you enjoy these cards and feel inspired to try out these techniques...

WOW! embossed flower arrangement....!!

Hey my crafty friends....

I've got a card to share with you using lots of "WOW! embossing" powders along with the awesome new Glisten Changer!!

To start this card I used a teal coloured cardstock base and I embossed the MFT crosshatch polka dot background stamp using WOW! clear gloss powder....

I wanted to create an embossed bunch of flowers so I embossed a few panels of cardstock by pressing white card onto my WOW! embossing ink pad and then covering in my powder colour of choice and heat setting....

These are the colours I used :
Earthtone Olive, Primary blue topaz, Primary fuchsia fusion, Primary lemon, Glisten changer mixed with fuchsia fusion!!

Once all my panels were embossed I die cut all the pieces from the MFT Freshly picked die and arranged them all into the flower can....

The flower can was embossed by mixing some Glisten changers with Primary fuchsia fusion in an empty WOW! pot...

If you haven't tried the changers yet then you totally need too...
They are an absolute game changer, making your regular embossing powders have many more options/results!!

I added the flower can to the card base using some foam tape for dimension and then added on some sentiments from the MFT stamp set All about you (also with the all about you die) that I stamped using Memento Tuxedo black ink....

This picture shows all the powders I used to create the embossed flower can arrangement and a close up of the full piece....

I hope you enjoy this new card of mine and feel inspired to get out your WOW! embossing powders and try the awesome Changers!!

Don't forget you can come over to the WOW! embossing facebook fans page and join us in our monthly challenge which is "Repeat patterns"...

Hey my crafty friends...

You can catch me up on the blog this week at "Create a smile stamps" with this friends card using the beautiful "Clematis" flowers....

This card features heat embossed images coloured with karin brushmarker pros....

You can find all the details on everything I used and the steps on how I created the card by visiting the CAS blog.....

I also created some fun tags this past week using some CAS products...

I love these amazing scripted sentiments, they are perfect for handmade tags of all occasions!!

To make the tags I die cut the base from white card stock three times using the MFT dienamics "Trendy tags" and then stamped a sentiment using Memento tuxedo black ink on each one...

Sentiments are "Get well soon", "Just for you" and "Wonderful" all from Create a smile stamps...

I then stamped on some Mesmerizing mandalas using Catherine Pooler inks in the colours Lime Rickey and Tiara!!

Some paper twine added to each tag along with some pretty sequins finished them off so they are now all ready to go on gifts....

Hope you enjoy these new Create a Smile projects and don't forget to pop to the CAS blog to check out all the details of my card!!
