Watercolour for you....!!

Hello lovelies...

I was inspired to play around with a watercolour background so today I have a card to share using some Miss Ink Stamps products with a fun watercolour background full of colour!!

To create this card I started with a piece of "Uniquely Creative" watercolour cardstock...

On a glass board I put down some inks from "Catherine Pooler" in the colours listed below and gave it a good spritz of water before dragging my piece of watercolour cardstock over it!!

- Rockin red
- Orange twist
- Tiara
- Lime rickey
- Fiesta blue
- Grape crush

Using the beautiful stamp from the MIS "Thankful" stamp set I stamped it twice over the watercolour piece using Memento tuxedo black ink and coloured them in using Spectrum noir ti-blend markers!!

The sentiment FOR YOU is heat embossed with "WOW!" opaque bright white embossing powder on grey cardstock...

A touch of Crater lake sequins attached using Micro glue dots finished the card off!!

Hope you enjoyed today's inspiration, maybe you will feel inspired to create a watercolour background too...

Happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee

I added lots of sparkle using WOW! Sparkles Thistle on the CP Trellis coverplate and the Happy x3 die cut word... Such a pretty glitter!!

I love using WOW! Opaque bright white for my sentiments so I used some fun sentiments from the "So happy" stamp set and embossed them on purple cardstock to match!!

How pretty are these butterflies from the Happy butterflies stamp set??!!
I stamped a whole bunch of them by using a blend of Pixie dust and Sweet sixteen CP inks...

Happy HELLO....!!

Hey crafty friends...

I had lots of fun crafting the night away the other night using some fabulous products from "Create a smile stamps" and this was the outcome....

I started this card off by using the "Slices" stencil along with the "Floral decorations" stamps...

I taped the stencil to a piece of white cardstock and then stamped a whole heap of the floral decorations around the slices circle. Once the slices were all filled with florals I blended in some Distress oxide inks for a fun pop of colour!!

Once I was happy with the blend I removed the stencil and fussy cut all the slices before adding them to a card base with foam tape for dimension...

How cool are the CAS stitched circle cool cuts??!! I added one of those as a layer on the stencilled design piece and then stamped/fussy cut a "Fun flower" out of the same coloured cardstock as the base...

A sparkly gold glitter "Happy" and sparkly CP Vegas baby sequins finished the card off!!

I'm really happy with the end result of this design, I hope you like it too...

It will be available on the 29th of APRIL so mark your calendars people!!

Today I'm sharing a sneak peek of some of the fabulous products included in the "Garden bundle" and the "Bloomin essentials bundle"...

To create this card I started with a piece of white cardstock and using some CP inks in the colours Tiara and party dress I did some direct to paper inking...

Once I had a fun blend of inks on the card I die cut using the "Flower burst" cover plate and popped out all the little pieces. I then added that to a base of black cardstock which made the colours absolutely pop!!

I stamped a couple of the butterflies from the "Happy butterflies" stamp set with WOW! embossing ink on watercolour cardstock and heat embossed with WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder. I was then able to add some grey shading/colouring to the using Karin brush markers pros....

A heat embossed sentiment from "Grace in bloom" stamp set on black cardstock and some sequins from "Phoenix" mix finished the card off...

Sursee FAVORITE....!!

Hey my crafty friends....

How are you all doing??!! I'm hanging in there hoping for all this current craziness in the world to hopefully be over soon....

To brighten your day I'm sharing lots of cards I made using the brand new APRIL club sursee from "Catherine Pooler"!!

This club sursee is AMAZING as is every month, If your not a subscriber yet you totally need to join. It's the absolute best getting a surprise of new stamps and dies every month to create with!!

When I get my sursee I really like to create matching sets of cards. I think they make a great present to give someone!!

All these cards (except for the last one) I used my Catherine Pooler inks in the colours :
- Rockin red
- Orange twist
- Tiara
- Grass skirt
- Grape crush

For this first card I did a fun technique (not sure on the name of it) where you stamp the images on your card base and then die cut a word or design from that stamped piece but then add it back in layering it up with some foam tape so that it pops out of the card...

I love how that turned out and I think I will definitely have to try that technique again!!

These sets are also perfect for those guys in your life...

Add a pop of colour using some direct to paper inking, a die cut favorite and some sentiments in Midnight ink along with a touch of sequins of course and you have yourself a perfect card for that guy friend!!

For these next two cards I had some more fun with direct to paper inking so I could create my own coloured papers to match the CP stamped images!!

Direct to paper is super easy..
Grab yourself a piece of white cardstock, a juicy CP ink pad and swipe it across the card.
You then have yourself some matching card to using to die cut or cut for your cards!!

With direct to paper you can also create yourself some rainbow coloured card by swiping different colours of ink next to each other....

Some of the sentiments I heat embossed with WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder on black cardstock. I love how the white embossing looks on the black card!!

This last card here using the fabulous FAVORITE die is the one where I used some different ink colours and naughty me didnt write down which ones I used (oops) but they are all CP ink colours!!

I hope you enjoyed this big post of club sursee inspiration....

You can check out all the info on sursee -HERE- I highly recommend it, its the best!!

Thanks for stopping by, Big crafty hugz from me...

Embossing little images....!!

Hey everyone..
I have a fun way of using little images to share with you!!
By stamping the tiny images included in "Miss Ink stamp" sets with embossing ink all over a piece of watercolour card you can heat emboss them to create full backgrounds that you can watercolour....

Using the super cute little flowers from the Springtime banners set I stamped them in my misti stamp positioner with WOW! embossing ink. (By using a stamping tool you can stamp multiple of the little images at once making it quicker to cover the whole base piece in images)
I then heat embossed all the little images with WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder....
After they were all embossed I used my Karin brush marker pro's to colour the whole piece!!
I added some focal sentiments from the decaf background stamp set which I also embossed using WOW! opaque bright white but this time it was on some grey cardstock...
To finish the card off I added a touch of sequins from the "Catherine Pooler" sequin mixes Vegas baby and Paisley park!!
Hope you like this technique and feel inspired to create your own backgrounds with all those little images...
Happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee

Hang in there....!!

Hello my friends...

I'm here to share some "Gerda Steiner" inspiration today using the fabulous "Sneaky raccoons" set....

With everything thats going on with the global pandemic I thought it would be nice to create a fun card for a friend just to let them know I'm thinking of them and to hang in there in this hard/challenging time!!

I think these sneaky raccoons would put a smile on anyones face don't you??!!

I started off by creating a woodgrain look base using an MFT background stamp and some Grey ink on a white card base with the bottom masked off...

I then die cut the window in the middle using a Heffy Doodle die called Fancy nancy frames...

Using some distress oxide inks in Twisted citron and Mowed lawn I added some colour to peek through the die cut window!!

The sneaky raccoons are all coloured up with Copic and adhered to the base using different levels of foam tape for added dimension....

Using some WOW! opaque bright white I embossed the sentiment "hang in there" on some black card and fussy cut them out to add into the window then finishing it all off with some Green Mountain CP sequins!!

Hope you enjoy this new card and it brings a smile to your face too...
Happy crafting and stay safe everyone, hugz Ashlee

Hey everyone and welcome to my stop on this
AMAZING huge blog hop for #spreadjoynotgerms....

Seeing as this hop is SO large if you get lost you can always pop to "Catherine" or "Hedgehow hollows" blog posts to find your way again....

I have two cards to share with you for this hop and I hope you enjoy them both...

This first one I used the Josephs coat technique to create a fun card base!!

Here are the steps I used to create this card....

- Using some watercolour cardstock I coloured it with a mix of Pale orange, Pale pink and pale violet Karin brush marker pros
- Using WOW! clear gloss embossing powder I heat embossed the Ride the wave background stamp from CP
- Using some CP midnight ink I rubbed that over the entire embossed base piece
- With a paper towel I removed the excess ink leaving a fun background design
- Using the same Karin markers I coloured a piece of white card and die cut using the beautiful word die (also a die cut base of white)
- Added some WOW! opaque bright white embossed sentiments from the Smile, beautiful sentiments set
- Finished it all of with some Catherine Pooler sequins!!

For my second card I have created a bright NEON coloured card to bring some happy to the receiver and what better background stamp to colour with neons than the super cool "At the rink" background from "Catherine Pooler designs"....!!

Here are the steps on how I created this card....

- I first embossed the at the rink background on some watercolour cardstock using WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder
- Once heat embossed I used the Karin NEON brush marker pros to colour the whole piece
- Using some pink neon card and some white card I die cut the Good vibes and layered them together before adhering to the background base using foam tape for added dimension
- Finished off the card with a touch of Catherine Pooler Crater lake sequins

Onto some more fun stuff...

Sorry....

Hey my crafty friends...

I really hope your all doing ok in ISO at the moment, lets hope all this is over sooner rather than later!!

I've got some new "Miss Ink stamps" inspiration to share with you today and this one is using the Alice stamps for a different themed card than you would usually use Alice for.... sympathy!!

I thought Alice looked so beautiful looking in to the distance remembering the loved one, which lead me to creating this card....

To create the card I started with a grey cardstock base and stamped on the "Pine forest" using some Altenew mini inks....

I then stamped on the sentiments from the "Magnolia sympathy" stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink!!

Using the "scene builder" stencil and Distress oxide inks in the colours Mowed lawn and Lucky clover I added in a ground for Alice to stand on....

Alice is all coloured up using Copic markers....

Alice - E50, E51, E53, E55, R20, C00, C0, C4, B12, B14, W7, Y21, Y26

I'm really happy with how this scene turned out and I hope you like it too!!

Thanks for stopping by today, I'll be back soon with more crafty inspiration for you....

Bunch of fruit....!!

Hey everyone.....

I thought I'd pop in and share a whole bunch of fruity inspiration using some AMAZING goodies from "Catherine Pooler's" latest release FOREVER 13!!

I just adore these fruity stamps from the "Sweet life" stamp set....
and Catherine's inks absolutely bring them to life in beautiful pops of colour!!

The "circle stripe" die was a perfect layer to add a focal point for the "sentimental fruit" lime....

I wanted to go with a chalkboard look for this card and the large sentiment stamp "good day" background worked super well for it....

Embossed using WOW! opaque bright white powder on black cardstock with pops of fruity oranges!!

What about a bit of yummy watermelon goodness...
Sentimental fruits along with the super cool "melon edge" die and the "spotted" background!!

Orange you cute.... oh yes you sure are!!

Some citrus goodness along with pops of the patterned paper from the "fresh and fruity" patterned paper pack....

Of course for my finishing touch to pretty much all my cards I added some pretty CP sequins!!

I hope you enjoyed this bunch of fruity inspiration, I sure had lots of fun making them all and I hope they made you smile....
