Catherine Pooler Unsinkable....!!

Hey everyone.....

I'm super excited to be a guest at "Catherine Pooler designs" this month and that means I get to take part in this awesome blog hop using some new products from the Unsinkable release!!

This release is full of so many awesome goodies you are totally going to want to hop along and check out all the teams creations...

I've used the "Hook,Line and sinker" stamp set along with the co-ordinating dies to create these two cards!!

I stamped this super cool anchor using Rockin red and Suede shoes CP inks....
I think the bright colours create a great focal point!!

These stamps are perfect for creating any beach/water themed cards....

"Refuse to sink" what a perfect sentiment for these images....

Next up is a simple card where I jstamped some waves and a sentiment straight onto the card base and then to add dimension I stamped/die cut the anchor and mounted it onto the base with some foam tape!

Catherine Pooler sequins are also the best finishing touch for any card, I can't go past a bit of bling for my cards!!

Here is the list of stops along the hop and of course what is a blog hop without a prize right??!! Catherine is giving away a $25 gift voucher to a lucky commenter that hops along all the stops and leaves a comment so leave a little love along the way and it could be yours!!

WOW! and Picket fence studios blog hop....!!

Hey everyone....

It's time for a fun blog hop with "WOW! embossing" and "Picket fence studio"....

The teams have created awesome projects to share with you and get you inspired!!

I created a bright and fun card using the stamp "Mixed tape love" from Picket fence.
I thought this stamp would be so much fun and how funny is the little sentiment!!

How many of you remember cassette tapes??!! Gone are the days right....

To create this card I cut out some "Stitched circle frames" from Create a smile stamps in different colours of cardstock and then layered them all in together.
I then gave them a coat of WOW! embossing ink and covered in WOW! "Wanderlust" embossing powder. Tipped off the excess and heat seat resulting in a colourful and sparkly piece for my background!!

Using WOW! melt it powder I created these super cute little heart embellishments...

The melt it powder is so much fun, all you do is put some melt it powder into a foil melt it case from WOW!, mix in your desired colour powder (I used Copacabana, unfortunately this is a retired colour)... give it a mix and then heat from underneath with your WOW! dual heat gun to melt it all.

Once its all melted you tip into your WOW! mould, they don't take long at all to set...
You then pop them out and you have handmade embellishments!!

The cassette tape I stamped, coloured with alcohol markers and then fussy cut around it... Added it to the card base with some foam tape for dimension and stamped the sentiment direct onto the card base!!

This finished off my card...
I hope you like it and I hope you have lots of fun hopping along the blog hop!!

No blog hop is a blog hop without a prize right....

WOW! Embossing Powders has 6 powders of your choosing along with a WOW carry case to store your powders safely in.
Picket Fence  is giving away a $50 gift certificate to their store.
The Winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on THE POSTS.
To join this GIVEAWAY you must leave a comment on each blog post to have a chance at getting your hands on the prize. This hop is open internationally.

Happy hello....!!

Hey friends....

I've got some new inspiration for you using some fun products from "Create a smile stamps". to create a happy hello card....

First off I cut a piece of white cardstock for my card base and then using an array of colours with the "Small polka dots" stencil I made a rainbow inked background....

(Inks used are - Salty ocean, Fired brick, Squeezed lemonade, Spiced marmalade and Shaded lilac)

The fun rainbow is from the new "Paw prints" stamp set and the cute little ladybug and flowers from the "Best bugs" set....

I also used the "Cool cuts rectangle frames" to cut my rectangle frame behind the images..

WOW! freestyle....!!

Hey my crafty friends...

Tonight I'm sharing some new WOW! embossing inspiration using some WOW! stamps which is our current theme for the month of July.

For these cards I used the "beautiful" stamp set and stamped images from them using black memento ink...

I wanted to have a play with the WOW! freestyle ink tool so I added some fun elements to the cards using that and black magic embossing powder....

I added a large thanks sentiment to this one which I embossed using "Metallic gold sparkle"... it matched well with the gold specks in the black magic powder!!

Onto my second card, I like to create sets of cards that match so this one uses the same techniques just with different images from the stamp set and a different sentiment...

It's such a fun and easy was to use the ink tool...
All I did was draw lines on the cardstock where I wanted them and then embossed as usual!!

A sprinkle of sequins is something I always love to add to give my cards a finishing touch...

If you feel inspired by my cards and would like to get yourself some awesome WOW! goodies to add to your crafty stash I have a discount code for you to use....

I finished off the card with a sweet sentiment "Lettuce be friends forever!" and a touch of clear sparkle sequins!!

The guinea pigs are coloured with Copic sketch markers...
E0000, E40, E33, E15, E18, R20

Crafty friends....!!

Hey everyone....

It's time to share some new "Hello Sweetums" inspiration and this time my card uses the super awesome stamp set "Crafty companions" and co-ordinating dies....

To start this card off I stamped a whole heap of the cute little glue bottles all over my card base and then masked them all with some tape.

Then using some Catherine Pooler Ink and an MFT lots of heart stencil I created a fun background around my images....

Once I'd finished all the inking I splattered with some Opaque white paint for a fun effect....

It was then time to remove all the masks to reveal the panel!!

I coloured up the glue bottle images with a little bit of C Copic markers just to give some shading...

I Added a fun sentiment from the crafty companions set along with a die cut layered friends cut and finished it off with some sequins!!

There we have a simple card for a crafty friend....

Hope you like it, have fun creating with your Hello Sweetums goodies,
Hugz Ashlee
