Sea you again....!!

Hey everyone....

Gotta love an underwater card so I have a new one to share with you using some fab "Create a smile" goodies!!

I made a simple card base doing some ink blending from one side of the card and spritzed with water to create a splotchy effect. I also splattered the background with some black ink mixed with a little water....

Once that was all dried I stamped on some ocean waves....

The images are all coloured up with Spectrum tri-blend markers....

To finish the card off I added a sentiment from the sending sunshine set and some water droplets.

Happy crafting everyone, Hugz Ashlee

Thoughts and prayers....!!

Hey my crafty friends...

I can't go past a beautiful floral stamp and this one from "Miss ink stamps" is just that!!

For this card I used the beautiful set "Magnolia sympathy"...
I heat embossed the flower and some of the extra leaves on black cardstock using WOW! opaque white powder then fussy cut it out...

I just love this effect of the image embossed on the white card, I think its so beautiful but so simple!!

I added in some pops of colour in the background using distress oxide inks in the colours Twisted citron and Picked raspberry.

Finished it off with a sentiment from the same stamp set and a touch of sequin of course!!

I hope you like my new card, I'm sure to be back with more to share with you very soon...

Sloths galore.....!!

Hey everyone.....

Boy have I got a lot of inspiration for you today....

There is a brand new mini kit available at "Uniquely creative" called "Sloth pals" and it is absolutely adorable!!

The kit comes with a stamp/co-ordinating die set, stencil, chipboard and some cut aparts...

For my first card I created a background with the stencil included using some Lime rickey Catherine pooler ink. Added a couple of cute little sloths coloured with Copics. A little sentiment and some UC enamel dots to finish it off nicely.

For the next card I used the stencil again for a fun pink background done with Party dress Catherine Pooler ink. Added a cut-apart sentiment, two Copic coloured sloths and some UC sequins...

Another simple background for the third card using the awesome stencil. A stamped sentiment stamped with Tuxedo black memento ink and two Copic coloured sloths. Finished off with some UC enamel dots.

This last one is a little different. I did'nt do any colouring I just repeat stamped some sloth images on the background using Tuxedo black Memento ink. Added a chipboard hello sentiment that I covered in black ink and on top a cut-apart sentiment. Finished off with some UC rhinestones.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing some cards made using this awesome mini set....
I sure enjoyed creating them all!!

Starfish wishes....!!

Hey crafty friends....

I just love a fun underwater scene card so I thought the "Hello Sweetums
sets "Oceans of encouragement" and "Seas the day" would be an absolutely perfect match to create one!!

I firstly made a background by masking off a rectangle and blending on some blue ink. Then using a heffy doodle stencil called bubble waves I heat embossed it with WOW! something borrowed embossing powder inspired by Catherine pooler.
(It's so sparkly and pretty but unfortunately hard to capture the sparkle in the picture)

I coloured up all the Hello Sweetums images I wanted for my scene and then added them to the card base using some foam tape for dimension....

Using the sentiment "Salty kisses and starfish wishes" I heat embossed it with WOW! opaque bright white powder on black cardstock and fussy cut around them...

To finish it all off some bubbles stamped with blue ink and of course some bling sequins!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like my latest Hello Sweetums inspiration....
Till next post happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee

Oh crap....!!

Hey everyone....

I have a new card to share with you for "Miss ink stamps" that I made using the set “UnstoppableThis set is full of super cute dinosaurs and perfect sentiments to match!!

I wanted to create a fun scene with some of the dinosaurs and the toilet paper, I just think the little toilet paper is too funny!!

To start the card I blended some Seafoam and Spruce Catherine Pooler inks onto the top half of the base. I then placed the stencil “Halftone lines bold centre” and inked again using Seafoam CP ink. Once that was done I die cut some shapes from the bottom half of the card which created some windows so I could ink the card underneath with Lemongrass ink and it would then show through.

I stamped the “Oh crap, I forgot your birthday” sentiment from the Unstoppable set in Memento tuxedo black ink part on a Heffy doodle strips of ease and the other on a Heffy Doodle watcha sayin die cut….

The dinosaurs and other elements are all coloured using Copic markers….

Dinosaurs - YG21, YG23, YG25, R20
Tree - E23, E25, E29, YG91, YG93, YG95, YG99
Volcano - E35, E37, YR18, YR14, YR27
Toilet paper - W00, W2, W4

I added them all to the card base with foam tape creating the little scene and then finished it all off with a touch of sequins.

I had so much fun making this card, I hope you enjoy it!!
Happy crafting friends, Ashlee.

Un"frog"ettable....!!

Hey crafty friends....

It's time for a new card using some gorgeous froggys from "Create a smile stamps
set "Unforgettable"...

I wanted it to be a nice vibrant card so to start with I ink blended some distress oxide in Tumbled glass and Mermaid lagoon onto 3/4 of my card base to create a sky and then at the bottom half some Twisted citron and Mowed lawn for grass.

Using some opaque white paint I gave it a splatter to give it a fun effect....

Using a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die I cut out a piece using white cardstock and ink blended on some clouds using the awesome layering stencil from CAS "Clouds".
(This was also done using distress oxide ink Tumbled glass and Mermaid lagoon).

I coloured up the super cute froggies and mushrooms using a mix of Spectrum noir
tri-blend and Copics....

I hope you enjoyed this bright and cheery frog card,
See you all again soon!! Hugz Ashlee

I've got another card to share with you using the fantastic "Coffee kit" from "Create a smile stamps". I just love this kit, its super fun and perfect for those coffee loving cards!!

For this card I wanted to do a fun but subtle feature with the die cuts...

I first used make art potting soil ink with the "Small polka dots stencil" and blended potting soil dark from the bottom and faded it out for an ombre effect...

Then using the dies i cut them out and added them back into the base with some foam tape to raise them out from the main base.

Finished the card off with a sentiment from the ephemera pack, some enamel dots and sequins...
