Cheers....!!

Hey everyone....

I had lots of fun playing around with a heaps of different products for this card that I have to share with you...

The main image is from "Stamping Bella" and she is called "Uptown girl - Opal the optimist", I coloured her up with my fave colouring medium Copics.

For the fun pattern behind the bella I used the new stamp from the "Uniquely creative" mixed media mini kit called "doodled circles"...

First I used some NUVO shimmer powder on glossy photo paper, and then stamped the doodled circles with versamark ink. Using "WOW" embossing powder I heat set the image with WOW Ebony powder.

The whole background is also done with the NUVO shimmer powders... Im loving these powders, they are so fun and make such awesome backgrounds!!

For the "Cheers" sentiment I used a "Make it crafty" chipboards and heat embossed it with WOW powders!!

Then of course to finish off the card a touch of sequins....

I hope you enjoy my latest card, I will be back soon with more of my creations to share with you all!!

Flashdance....!!

Hey everyone....

I've been attacking my "Stamping bella" stash lately so I have another fun card to share with you, this time using the cool "Uptown girl - Farrah loves flashdance" stamp!!

I coloured her up with Copics and then I thought I'd have a go at adding some
prisma colour pencil to it....

The background was made using some NUVO shimmer powder in a variety of the
colours on photo glossy paper...

I then used a card base which I blended some distress ink on,  and cut out some triangles so that when I layered it over the NUVO piece you would see the awesome colours of the powder show through!!

The sentiment is also included in the stamp set from Stamping bella...
I stamped it on some white card with tuxedo black memento ink, cut it up into pieces and then backed it on some pink card.

Of course a touch of pretty sequins for some bling finished off the card!!

I hope you have enjoyed this fun colourful card, I know I had lots of fun creating it....
Oh and If you don't already you certainly need some bella's in your life...
there is even a "SALE" on at the moment, so get in quick and grab some
new stamps for your stash!!

Happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee.

Bestie....!!

Hey everyone...

I've got a card to share with you today using some awesome stamps from

I think these stamps are just so much fun and absolutely perfect for a card for
best friend!!

There is actually a big sale section over at Stamping Bella at the moment and the acting goofy stamp is one thats included in the sale, how cools that!!

I coloured up all the images using my Copics and added a touch of white pen...

The background was done by masking a rectangle on the card base and blending a couple of colours of distress ink together, finished off with a spritz of water for a mottled effect!!

I used a chippie from "Make it crafty" for the sentiment "You're my bestie" and coloured it with black copic, I then added a touch of white pen and covered with a liquid gloss.

Of course a touch of sequins for some bling finished off the card!!

I hope you like it, Happy crafting everyone!!

Hooray bubble chicks....!!

Hey everyone....

I grabbed this cute stamp "bubble chicks" from "Stamping bella" out of my stash and
coloured them up with my Copics.

I had fun trying a colourful way of colouring the bubbles, what do you think of them?!

I am absolutely loving the NUVO shimmer powder on photo paper at the moment...
It creates such fun and colourful backgrounds for cards. Super easy to use, a little messy but awesome results!!

Aren't those bubble chicks just the cutest, floating about with their big colourful bubbles!!

I hope you like my simple but colourful card...
Thankyou for stopping by, happy crafting, Ashlee.

Yipppeeeee Santa's....!!

Hey everyone...

Im up on the "Gerda Steiner blog" today with a card I have made
using the "sportsy santa" clear stamps, (co-ordinating dies also available).

I think this santa set is super fun, check out these santa's ripping up the slopes!!

First off I masked a background and created a little snowy scene using some
distress oxide inks and then with a stencil added in some snow with Nuvo paste.

Once that was dry I added on some die cut clouds and a fun speech bubble to show just how much fun santa was having....hehe!!

Then the scene was set for my two santa's, (both coloured using Copic markers).
A touch of sequins and the card was finished!!

I hope you like it, happy crafting everyone. Ashlee

Warm holidays....!!

Hi everyone....

MFT stamps has a colour challenge on their blog so I thought I would
create a card for the current one!!

I was inspired by the colours Persimmon and Sour apple so here is what I came up with....

Yep thats right a green flamingo......hahahaha, I couldn't resist using the "festive flamingos" stamps so I just coloured him up a little different to the standard pink so it would work with the colours I chose to work with but I think he looks cool in green don't you?!

For my shaker window I used the awesome new "snowflake window" die-namic and filled it with some beautiful sequins in a mix of clear and some similar to the sour apple and persimmon colours!!

I had fun playing with the colour challenge, why not come and join in too?!

Till next post happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee.

No peeking....!!

Hey everyone....

I wanted to participate in the current "sketch challenge" at MFT stamps so created
card using some super cute christmas products aswell as an older
MFT background stamp...

I really enjoy following sketches as it gives you a great starting point to a card,
especially if you need a little bit of inspiration to get the creative juices flowing!!

Here is my card featuring the sweet little boy from the "BB Secret Santa" set...

First off I masked a rectangle on my card base and inked it with hickory smoke distress oxide ink. I then used the MFT background stamp "small brick" with some Altenew black ink to add on the bricks.

From that inked panel I used the new christmas tree window dienamic to create a tree for my scene. I also cut out another tree on white cardstock and then just cut out the decorations so I could layer that on top of the tree so they would be
plain and not the grey inked colour.

Using NUVO shimmer powder on photo paper gave me a beautiful background to layer under my tree to make it pop out from the inked panel!

I stamped the little boy and some presents from the secret santa set and coloured them all using Copic sketch markers.

A sentiment and some sequins finished off the card...

I hope you enjoy my latest card, I had lots of fun making it.
You even still have time to join in the sketch yourself so go get creative!!

MFT & Friends....!!

Hi everyone....

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was to be asked to join
My Favourite Things as a guest designer this month for their MFT & friends post
It has been a dream of mine for a long time to work with this company
so to have been asked to guest for them was AMAZING for me!!

They have awesome products for us crafters to create with, its always such a joy...
and this new collection is certainly not going to disappoint, as there is so many fun new products that I'm sure you will just have to have in your collection!!

I actually have multiple creations to share with you today because just needed to play with everything hehe...

These first couple cards I made using the set called "snow special"... its full of super cute little penguins!!

The christmas tree is a new die-namics called "christmas tree window"...
I used some NUVO shimmer powders on photo paper behind the tree for a fun colourful effect.

For this next card I created a tunnel effect using some MFT circles die-namics and then added a frame around the front using "stitched mini scallop circle stax".

I thought the "Happy christmas" sentiment finished it off nicely cut from a white glitter card.

Onto another new stamp set, this one is called "here comes santa claus"...

This card is a mix of fun things, a peek a boo wheel (a new die-namic) with a hidden sentiment "with love from santa" along with a shaker filled with pretty sequins!!

I think the peek a boo wheel adds such a fun element to any card!!

The "snowflake window" die-namic is great to use for beautiful windows and shakers,
you can use the rectangle piece of the frame separate too...

Again I used some NUVO shimmer powders on photo paper for a bright and cheery pink christmas card.

Is'nt the sentiment just the best....hahahaha, "Sassy pants holiday" is a fun
set for all those quirky sentiments for your christmas cards!!

I've been wanting to make a tunnel card for awhile so this next one features a
shaker and tunnel card all in one....

"Fa la la" die-namic was perfect to use as a shaker for the front of the card.

The inside tunnel.....

Using the cutout pieces from the front of the card I added some for a
little sentiment on the inside...."la la la".
My next card is a puzzle spinner, you can send it to the recipient all messed up so they have to spin it around too see the full picture and sentiment.

Once the puzzle is complete this is the full picture....

Would you have fun receiving this card?!

Here comes santa clause is such a fun set full of great santa claus
images along with lots of sweet extras to get all those christmas cards sorted!!

(All images were coloured using Copic sketch markers and some NUVO markers)

I hope you have enjoyed my extra special post today, I know I had an absolute
blast creating them all....

Thankyou SOOOO much for having me MFT!!

Let it snow....!!

Hi everyone...

Thought I'd pop in real quick tonight and share a card I made
using some products from "Avery elle".

This card features the fab element die "Let it snow" and a mix of stamps from "A merry little christmas", "Christmas magic" and "Quirky christmas" sets.

I coloured all the sweet little images in with Copics and propped them all inside the let it snow die to create a fun little christmas scene...

The christmas tree I stamped with the same colour distress oxide ink that I used for the lighter portion of the outside frame so it all matched in nicely.

I added a touch of sequins from "Hbbrittneylee" frosty mix to finish it off.

Hope you have enjoyed your visit, and found a little inspiration for your christmas cards!!
Happy crafting everyone, Ill be back soon with a very special post!!

WooHooo.... it's time for me to share with you another card I made using a new release stamp set from "Craftin desert divas" called "Winter trolls"!!

I just love the signature CDD trolls... they are always so adorable.

I used distress inks to create a bright pink background with a heart pattern
using the CDD stencil "hearts galore"...

The image and sentiment is framed with a die cut using the "inside scalloped rectangles".

Finished off the card with a touch of CDD sequins... they have so many adorable mixes available but this "bubblegum mix" is one of my faves!!

Hope you like my sneak peek of the new release....
I will have more to share with you soon!!

Carols....!!

Hey everyone...

Im up on the "Gerda Steiner" blog today with this new card using the super cute
"Carol kitten" stamp set (co-ordinating dies also available)!!

I masked the kittens to create a fun little scene of them singing carols out in the snow...
(They are all coloured up using Copic markers).

I created the background by using a sun ray stencil with distress oxide inks and then used a snow stencil with some NUVO glimmer paste over the top.

I had lots of fun creating this fun snowy scene, I hope you like it!!

Giving thanks....!!

Hey everyone.....

I used the gorgeous set "Served up" for this one and
coloured it up using Copic sketch markers.

I used the gorgeous set "Served up" for this one and
coloured it up using Copic sketch markers.

I stencilled in a fun background using some distress oxide ink
and the "diagonal grid" CAS stencil.

The sentiment thanks is a die from Heffy doodle that I cut three times in black cardstock and layered it together to make it quite thick and sturdy.

A touch of sequins finished off the card....

Hope you will come and join us in this fortnights challenge for a chance at
winning a gift certificate to the CAS store!!

Happy crafting everyone, Hugz Ashlee.

Better with sprinkles....!!

Evening everyone....

I have a new card to share with you and this one is using the super duper cute stamps from
"Newtons nook".... I just adore their fun images!!

This stamp set is called "Newtons donut"....
it comes with the cute little images I used in the background the donut and sprinkles too!!

I masked off all the donuts to create a fun distress inked panel in the background and coloured all the images using Copic sketch markers.

The sentiment "Life is better with sprinkles" is such a fun one I think!!
I heat embossed it with white wow embossing powder on some black cardstock cut into a strip using the "Heffy doodle" "stitched strips of ease" dies.

Thats all from me for tonight, its nearly bedtime for this one!!
