I miss your face....!!

                                                                  Hello my friends...

I have a card featuring a cute little doggy from the "Puppy mail" stamp set by "Gerda Steiner designs" to share with you all today....

I stamped him with Memento tuxedo black ink and then coloured in with Copic markers!!

To create this card I started with a blue piece of MFT cardstock and used a hot foil stamp from Spellbinders with gold foil to do the foiled heart detailing on the background...

I then added a sentiment on a die cut banner all from Tailored Expressions that I could sit the little puppy dog above!!

If you don't have this super cute stamp set "Puppy mail" in your stash yet I totally recommend it, its such a sweet set especially if you love sending happy mail cards...

Happy crafting, hugz Ashlee

January Canvo spreads....!!

Hey everyone...

Who's excited for a brand new year?? 2021......

I've got my Canvo spreads ready to go using the latest Club Canvo goodies from "Catherine Pooler"....

The new club Canvo features a super awesome stamp set called "Turn up the beat" and there is also now dies available to co-ordinate with it (how cool is that!!)

I stamped the awesome beat box with CP Midnight ink and coloured it in with a Tombow blender pen and CP inks...

I love using this option to colour in images in my Canvo, have you tried it?!

I just love these mix tapes, aren't they so fun!!

I added lots of little coloured music notes to this page ready for any notes I need to jot down for January....

I used the "Future log" stencil to do my calendar spreads for these next couple of pages along with the "January notes" stamp set for the dates...

I added a fun keyboard element around the January month stamp....

For my last spread for this month I used the "Weekly seven stencil" and added some fun elements from the January notes and turn up the beat stamp sets...

There is also a cool stencil included in the latest Club Canvo shipment thats currently postal for me but you can check it out here "Year round stencil".

Happy new year everyone, and happy Canvoing, Hugz Ashlee

Fab foils and stencils with Ashlee....!!

 Hey my friends...

This month at WOW! embossing we are sharing lots of inspiration using the WOW! fab foils!!

I've made a card to share with you using a stencil to create a fab foil background for a shiny Christmas card....

To start making this card I started with a base of watercolour cardstock and I masked off the bottom piece with some postal tape. Then using some Catherine Pooler inks I did a fun blend of pink/orange tones to peek out from behind my stencilled background!!

Once the ink was dry I went over it with an anti static tool....

I placed the stencil over the ink blended area and using some WOW! slow dry embossing ink I went over the stencil so I could then add on WOW! bonding powder....

I heat set the bonding powder with my dual heat gun and then got a piece of WOW! fab foil in bright silver to place over the embossed area before running through my MINC foil machine....

Wait for it to cool a little, remove the foil and wolahhhh you have a super pretty foiled background!!

This picture shows my card case with bonding powder ready to be heated....

The WOW! embossing ink works perfect for using with stencils!!

If you haven't tried fab foils yet you totally need to check them out, they are awesome and lots of fun to play around with....

Happy foiling everyone, and be sure to pop back to see all the WOW! inspiration this month!!

Beautiful NEW YEAR....!!

 Hey my friends...

There is a brand new release coming to town at "Catherine Pooler" and it's amazing as always!!

BEAUTIFUL NEW YEAR is a must see....

Available December 9th!!

I have a few cards to share with you today using the fabulous new stamp "Cocktail party" (co-ordinating dies also available)....

This stamp set is so perfect for celebrating the new year!!

I created a super sparkly full background for this one using the "Mod strips cover plate" die with some new Sparkles from WOW! Embossing...

A heat embossed gold sentiment and finished off with some CP sequins completed this first card!!

For the second card I did some strips from the Mod cover plate die again using the same WOW! Sparkles but didn't completely cover the background so I could stamp on some sentiments using CP Midnight ink from the new "Sincere thanks" stamp set.....

I finished this one off with some CP sequins from the "Motor city" mix also!!

I just love all the sparkle on these two cards, what do you think?!

For this last card I did a stamped background using lots of the images from the Cocktail party stamp set and CP inks...

I then added a sentiment stamped straight over the top using CP Midnight ink from the Sincere thanks stamp set and finished it all off by backing in black cardstock and a touch of
"Vegas baby" sequins!!

You totally need to check out all the sneak peeks of the upcoming release so be sure to stop by the Catherine Pooler facebook page or if your a member of StampNation there is lots of inspiration popping up from the Brand Ambassador team....

Happy crafting everyone, Hugz Ashlee

WOW! fab foils and die cuts....!!

Hey everyone...

I have a card to share using some WOW! fab foils and die cuts!!

I masked off a rectangle area on my card base and did a blend of Catherine Pooler inks. Using the super cute stamp set Bunny slopes from CP I coloured in one of the bunny images with Spectrum noir tri-blend markers before cutting it out with the co-ordinating dies...

To add part of my sentiment I stamped the Holiday word from All around wishes CP stamp set using WOW! embossing ink and embossed with WOW! silver sparkle powder!!

To use the WOW! fab foils with die cuts I used a piece of cardstock covered in double sided adhesive before placing my die on top and running through my die cut machine...

Once you have the die shape cut out remove the protective sheet from the top and place a piece of WOW! fab foil over the top....

Rub over it with your fingers and then slowly remove the foil sheet, this will leave foil stuck to all the area that has double sided adhesive on it!!

Here is my background piece to my die cut word foiled in silver and the wishes word ready to have the foil placed over the top....

WOW! Fab foils work perfect with double sided adhesive and die cuts!!

If you want to do any shopping at the WOW! store here is a discount code for 10% off your order WOWDTAB

Have fun playing with your foils, hugs Ashlee

Club Sursee creations....!!

 Hey everyone....

I absolutely love Club Sursee time from "Catherine Pooler" and this post is full of creations using the latest Sursee!!

Just incase you don't know Club Sursee is a subscription based service where you receive crafty goodies in your mail box each month. There is two different subscription amounts one being the basic and one the deluxe!! You can check out all the Club Sursee details here - SURSEE

Now I've explained all the details a little bit onto all my cards...

For this first card I used the Dogwoods in bloom stamp set along with the co-ordinating dies to create a colourful array of flowers, complete with a joyful sentiment stamped in Midnight ink and a  touch of pretty CP sequins....

My second card is my favourite from the bunch...

A whole bouquet of dogwoods in bloom flowers stamped in a mix of gorgeous CP ink colours
topped with the die cut Joyful word that I die cut from white and black cardstock then layered them slightly off set....

I just love this large stamp on the next card called through the prism, it is so fun to play with and so many ways to use it!!

For this one I inked up most of the stamp but left a small area slightly un-inked so I could have a space for my sentiment to go....

This next card also features a background using the Through the prism stamp but this time I heat embossed it with WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder on some watercolour cardstock so I could watercolour it using Karin brush marker pro's....

Finished off with a Joyful word die cut from Silver foil cardstock layered on a piece of vellum!!

I went with a more monotone look for the next one by stamping Through the prism onto some grey cardstock and then adding elements in silver....

Thats all of my cards for today, I hope you enjoyed this post full of Club Sursee inspiration....

I sure has a blast creating them all!!

Happy crafting my friends, big hugz Ashlee
