Happy holiday penguins....!!

  Hi friends...

I hope you are all well and getting prepped for that busy Christmas season!!

I have a new card to share with you using one of the brand new sets from "Gerda Steiner" "Happy holiday penguin"...

How adorable is this festive group of penguins right??!!
I just love all their happy little faces!!

To create this card I started with a white card base and I stamped the sentiments from all of us and holidays straight onto the card base using Memento tuxedo black ink...

I then added some strips of cardstock to match the colours of the letters the penguins are holding...

The image was all coloured with Spectrum noir tri-blend and Altenew markers then cut out using my brother scan n cut machine before adding to the cardbase using some foam dots for dimension!!

I finished it all off with a touch of sequins for some pretty bling...

I hope you enjoy this new holiday card, Happy crafting my friends.

Quick Christmas card inspired by CAS....!!

 Hey everyone...

I have been inspired by Christine from "Create a smile stamps" for this new card...

She has had a challenge for people to create and share cards for Christmas made in 10mins!!

I think this is such a fantastic idea to get lots of Christmas cards done in such a short time, great for mass production....

To create this card I started with a white cardstock base covered in double sided adhesive. I then cut a bunch of strips in different widths from three different colours of cardstock...

Once the strips were all cut I placed them on an angle to cover the whole card base, then trimmed off the excess around the edges!!

Using some white cardstock I die cut the "Christmas tree" and a "Speech bubble" that I stamped with the sentiment deck the halls from the "Small Christmas sentiments" stamp set....

To finish off the whole card I added some pretty sequins from the North Pole mix by Catherine Pooler!!

I hope you like this quick and easy to re produce card ready for Christmas....

Holiday wishes....!!

 Hey my friends...

I have a brand new card to share with you today using stamps, dies and paper from the latest collection by "Catherine Pooler" Nordic Wood....

I'm currently catching up on making cards with this collection as my goodies had a lovely postal trip to get here into my hot little hands, so keep an eye out for more!!

I started off with a base of pretty paper from the "Through the woods" paper pack and then die cut some "White birch coverplate" from white cardstock before inking the edges with Sandcastle CP ink....

(BTW keep an eye out for an amazing sale coming soon for BLACK FRIDAY at CPD because shhhhh ink is going to be on SALE.....say whattttt!!!!!! yep you heard that right!!)

I then heat embossed part of my sentiment from the "All around wishes" stamp set on black cardstock using WOW! Embossing Opaque bright white powder....

I then die cut the base layer of the "Wishes word" die from white cardstock and from a piece of white card heat embossed using CP inspired WOW! embossing powder Cranberry sparkle I die cut the top layer of the word!!

How cute are the bunnies from the "Bunny slopes" stamp set, coloured up a couple of the images using some Spectrum noir tri-blend and Altenew markers before adding them to the card with foam tape for dimension....

I finished it all off with a touch of sequins from the "Oak city" mix,
how gorgeous is this mix right??!!

I hope you enjoy this holiday wishes card with the super cute bunnies!!

Club Canvo December spreads....!!

 Hey everyone....

The latest Club Canvo from Catherine Pooler has arrived so I have all my pages ready and prepared for journalling next month....

For my monthly (December stamp) cover page I added a mini calendar and decorated with super cute elements from the Winter mantle stamp set!!

How adorable is the gnome....

I coloured him up using a blender pen and Catherine's inks!!

In every Club Canvo subscription there is a fab new stencil and this one included the weekly eleven stencil....

I used the stencil on many of my december pages so I can write info/notes to each of the days!!

For this next page I thought it would be fun to add an ink blended panel down the side so I placed the just plaid slimline stencil over the side and inked...

I then added some elements from the winter mantle stamp set...

I've got a whole bunch of pages using all the latest Canvo goodies so keep scrolling these pics for more inspiration....

I hope you feel inspired to get your December spreads ready for the month....

Thankyou for stopping by and happy Canvoing!!

It's time for cake....!!

  Hello my friends...

I have a super fun glow in the dark underwater scene card to share with you featuring the awesome stamp set "Big bite" from "Gerda Steiner designs"....

I created this card by starting off with a base of watercolour cardstock and masked off the bottom piece...

I then used some Catherine Pooler inks to ink blend the water!!

Once the ink was dry I went over it with an anti static tool because now it was time to add the brand new glow in the dark embossing powder by WOW! called Galaxy glow...

Using WOW! embossing ink and a stencil from Heffy Doodle called first snow I went over the stencil that was placed over the inked area with an ink blending tool, removed the stencil, covered in embossing powder, removed the excess powder and then heat set with my dual heat gun!!

Wollllaaahhhhh check out this glow......

How cool is this powder right??!!

I coloured up the awesome images from the Big bite stamp set using Spectrum noir tri-blend and Altenew markers then added them to the card base using foam tape for dimension....

I finished it all off with a sentiment from the same stamp set and some pretty shell sequins!!

I hope you enjoy this glowing card, Happy crafting...

Winter trio hop with WOW! embossing, Catherine Pooler and Heffy Doodle....!!

Hey everyone....

Welcome to the WOW! embossing, Catherine Pooler and Heffy Doodle collaboration hop!!

You are in for a treat with a whole bunch of inspiration using some amazing products from these three companies...

I had so much fun combining the products for my card I have to share with you today....

I started with a watercolour cardstock base and ink blended Catherine Pooler inks in the colours Be mine, Tiki torch, Tiara, Melon ice and It's a boy...

Once the ink blend was dry I went over it with an anti static tool and used the Heffy Doodle "First snow" stencil to apply some WOW! embossing slow dry ink, I removed the stencil and covered in WOW! bonding powder and then heat set....

Using a piece of WOW! fab foil Ice blue I placed it over the top and then ran through my MINC machine to create a fun foiled snow fall!!

Using the Catherine Pooler stamp set "Nordic Village" I stamped the sentiment with WOW! embossing slow dry ink and then heat embossed with WOW! Angel eyes embossing powder.

I also stamped a couple of the houses and some trees with CP inks to create a little scene.
I die cut them with the "co-ordinating dies" and added them to the base with some varying layers of foam tape for dimension!!

Using the Heffy Doodle stamp set " Wanna build a snowman" I stamped the cute little penguin with Memento tuxedo black ink and coloured with Spectrum noir tri-blend markers....

I fussy cut the penguin and then added him to the scene before finishing off the card with a touch of CP sequins from the Crater Lake mix!!

Heres the awesome hop line-up for you to check out...

Colouring images with WOW! embossing pen....!!

Hey my friends...

I have a fun technique to share using the awesome WOW! embossing pen from "WOW! embossing"!!

I created a bunch of mini tags ready for some birthday presents and to create these I first started with a white tag base cut from a die by MFT called trendy tag....

I die cut 6 of the trendy tags so I could join two together back to back to make them a bit stronger and then stamped them with images from the So mini stamp set by the stamp market using Memento tuxedo black ink...

Now the tags are all stamped its time to move onto the fun part....
Embossing them with the WOW! embossing pen!!

Use your WOW! embossing pen and colour in the parts of the images that you want to emboss with your WOW! powders...

Colour in some parts of the image at a time and then emboss with your WOW! dual heat tool so that you can do different colours of WOW! embossing powder...

I think using the pen is such a fun way to add embossed colour to any image for tags, cards and more!!

Here is a picture of all the WOW! products I used to colour my images on the tags....

To finish off my tags I added some yellow twine to each one and a touch of sequins of course!!

If you feel like doing some shopping at the WOW! embossing store here is a discount code for you for 10% off your order - WOWDTAB

I hope you enjoy this technique and I look forward to seeing you try it out too...
Happy embossing, hugz Ashlee

Club Sursee....!!

Hello my crafty friends...

I thought I would pop in and share with you all a bunch of cards I made using the latest Club Sursee arrival from "Catherine Pooler"....

I just love "Club Sursee", although honestly who wouldn't love crafty goodies arriving in their mail box every month right??!!

For my first few cards I created a matching card set which I love to do....

These matching cards are done using CP inks in the colours :
- Party Dress
- Lime Rickey
- Fiesta Blue

with a touch of CP Midnight ink....

How cute are these little mittens from the Winter wishes stamp set....

I thought it would be fun to create matching sets of mittens with colourful pops of CP sequins along the strings!!

These little Christmas trees are just too cute!!

Onto my next couple of cards I used the awesome skates from the Let's go skating stamp set
to create pairs and bunches of skates for focal pieces on the cards....

Bright and colourful pink skates, yes please....

Lots of pretty colours of skates on this next one with pops of snowflakes in the background!!

What do you think of these super fun new Club Sursee products??....
I love them as always hehe!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this long post of inspiration...

A few of my favourite things...!!

Hey my friends...

There is a brand new release in town at "Catherine Pooler" and boy oh boy you totally need to check it out because it is full of gorgeous products!!

I am sharing with you today a slimline card I made using the stamp set "Nordic Village" (co-ordinating dies) and I can see that I am going to be using this stamp set so much!!

To create my slimline base I started with a piece of watercolour cardstock and did a blend of CP inks. I then used the slimline stencil "Just plaid" and the same colours of ink to make a pattern in the ink blend!!

The sentiments I heat embossed using WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder....

I stamped some of the cute little village houses and the trees to add to the base using foam tape so they popped off the card....

Finished it all off with a touch of sequins from the "Aspen" mix!!

I'm loving how bright and cheery this one turned out, certainly adds up to the sentiment too "these are a few of my favourite things" CP stamps, inks and sequins!!

Hope you enjoy this new slimline card and my take on some of the new products...
Happy crafting, hugz Ashlee.
