Go Santa, GO...!!

Hey my friends....

I have a fun santa slimline card to share with you all today using the awesome "Sportsy santa" stamp set from "Gerda Steiner designs"....

I just love these super fun santa's having a blast in the snow....

To create this card I started off with a white base that I die cut from a "Sunny Studio stamps" die set called slimline scalloped frames and then inked up the top half using Distress Oxide in the colours Broken China and Blueprint Sketch....

I then used the slimline nature borders die (also from Sunny Studio) to die cut the snow slopes out of some white cardstock which I then layered onto the bottom half of the card base!!

I added the scalloped backing die cut from some bright green cardstock to my card base and then finished the whole card off by adding on all my Santa's, some sequins and a Merry Christmas sentiment from the GSD set "Holiday friends"....

I hope you enjoy this holiday themed slimline card...

Thanks so much for stopping by, crafty hugz Ashlee

Fall inspired projects with Club Sursee....!!

Hey my crafty friends...

Oh my have you seen the latest Catherine Pooler Club Sursee??!!

It is amazing and full of SUPER FUN products including a very special gift card to go die....

I created a bunch of fall inspired cards using the Club Sursee products and I'm here to share them all with you!!

For my first card I made a slimline one (slimline is so much fun I highly recommend trying them out if you haven't yet) I started with a white base and backed it in some brown card.

I then stamped and die cut a bunch of the images from the included stamp sets using Catherine Pooler inks in the colours..

- Sand Castle
- Mandarin Spice
- Icing on the Cake

I added them to the card base using foam tape for added dimension and finished it off with a sentiment and some sequins from the "Des Moines" sequins mix....

The next card is done on a base of Neenah desert storm cardstock...

I stamped a panel of the card with the super cute little images in a mix of CP colours directly onto the base and then added a sentiment underneath stamped with Midnight ink...

I stamped and die cut the little pumpkin then added that on to the stamped panel with some foam tape...

Finished off with some sequins!!

For this next card I wanted to create a a little pumpkin patch so I stamped a bunch of the images and die cut them before arranging into a little patch....

Finished off with a sentiment and some sequins!!

Using Neenah desert storm cardstock again for this card base I stamped a whole bunch of pumpkins....

I added a sentiment over the top and of course for that added blings some sequins....

A warm cup of coffee is the theme for the next card....

I layered three of the coffee cups along the card base and stamped a sentiment to warm the soul!!

Backed in some green cardstock and finished off with sequins this card was complete!!

Now who is ready to check out the very special gift card to go die??!!

I made a set of gift card holders using Neenah desert storm card...

I masked off a piece of the lid and inked on the little stripes of colour before cutting out the base and lid from co-ordinating colours of cardstock!!

I stamped some sentiments directly onto the holder so when the recipient removes the gift card there is a sweet sentiment for them....

Using the wrap piece of the die I added it to the back of each of the gift card holders so that I could use it as a little card to write in a greeting....

I think these gift card holders are so much fun and they will be perfect for anytime of the year to give a gift to a friend....

I hope you enjoyed seeing all these fall inspired creations....

Merry Christmas embossed shaker card....!!

Hello my friends...

I have some more inspiration for our current monthly theme at WOW! embossing - CHRISTMAS....

It's always fun to create Christmas cards ready for that wonderful time of the year!!

I am loving making slimline cards so this one is another shaker using some cute penguin images from Mama Elephant and WOW! embossed die cut pieces....

I embossed some die cut hearts from MFT using the super pretty Nice ice blue embossing glitter. I thought this colour of embossing glitter would co-ordinate really well with the icy theme of the penguins!!

I also added an embossed Merry sentiment using the Metalline Kiwi krush powder....

All the penguin images are coloured up using Copic markers!!

Do you emboss die cut pieces for your cards??

To do this I start with a piece of white cardstock and cover a panel of it using the WOW! slow dry ink pad. I then cover in my selected powder before tipping off the excess back into the pot and heating with my WOW! dual heat tool.

Why not create a Christmas theme one and come and share with us over in the WOW! facebook fans group, you would even have a chance at a shopping voucher to the WOW! store if your the monthly winner!!

I hope you enjoy this card and feel inspired to do some embossed die cut pieces for your cards, Hugz Ashlee

October Canvo spreads....!!

Have you got your Canvo journal pages ready for October??!!

The new month is nearly upon us so I thought I'd share with you all my spreads ready to go all made using the latest Club Canvo goodies from "Catherine Pooler"....

My first spread includes a mini calendar for all the dates/days along with an October stamp month header!!

This super cute gumball machine from the latest Club Canvo "Sweet shop" set is just super cute ....

For my next spread I added a fun side full of "Sweet shop" lollies stamped in a bunch of pretty Catherine Pooler ink colours...

- All that Jazz
- Party Dress
- Grape Crush

and the full month of days/dates done with the square stamp out of the "Sweet shop" set so I can write in things for each day....

Next up I thought I would do a page using the "Weekly nine" stencil to add some to-dos and notes for anything extra I needed to keep track of....

Finishing off the monthly spreads with a mood tracker because I thought the gumball machine would be super fun for this tracking....

I hope you enjoy all my sweet spreads for this month and it gives you some inspiration for your pages...

Happy Canvoing everyone...

MFT Superstar entry - Clean and Simple

 Hey everyone....

Have you got your entries in for the MFT Superstar challenge?!

I've just finished my entry for the Clean and Simple genius category and
I would love to share it with you all ....

I used the stamp set "Hydrangeas in bloom" with co-ordinating dies and I stamped it with embossing ink and embossed with WOW! Opaque bright white powder....

I coloured the whole image using Karin brushmarker pros and then die cut it using the co-ordinating dienamic...

The "all about you" die I die cut from black cardstock and embossed with WOW! clear gloss powder!! (I must of had a little bit of glitter on my embossing ink pad when I dipped the you die cut in as it also has some glitter in it, but I actually like the bonus glitter in there!!)

The sentiment is from the "all about you" stamp set and I stamped it onto the card base using Memento tuxedo black ink before finishing the whole card off with a touch of sequins....

I hope you enjoy this card and I also hope you feel inspired to create an entry for the challenge too!!

Happy crafting my friends, Hugz Ashlee

Jolly Holiday at Catherine Pooler designs....!!

 Hey my crafty friends...

The brand new Jolly holiday release is available now at "Catherine Pooler"....

If you love yourself some christmas crafty products then you are totally going to love this amazing release!!

I have a whole bunch of cards to share with you using the "Naughty or nice bundle"....

I am loving a good slimline card, they are so much fun to create and these slimline dies that Catherine recently released are AMAZING!!

I used the "essentials slimline" die to make this one and I think it turned out super fun with the nice list images!!

For these next couple I made a matching set of cards....

Sentiments in the centre of the super cute elves hats and legs makes a simple but fun card with pops of colour.....

The North Pole sequins are so gorgeous too!!

All the images are coloured using Copic markers....

For this next card I used the Peppermint twist coverplate as a stencil...

I die cut it out of a scrap piece of paper and then using some CP party dress ink and an ink blending brush I made a peppermint twist background!!

Next up I used some pattern paper from the Holiday whimsy pattern paper pack for my card base and then die cut the "Merry christmas" sentiment out of some green cardstock to place in the centre of the card finishing it off with the nice list images and some North Pole sequins!!

How fun are these new products right??!!

I just could'nt stop crafting with them hehe, so you will probably be seeing more cards made with them very soon!!

MFT Superstar entry - Innovation Master

Hey my crafty friends...

The annual MFT Superstar challenge is on again and I always love to try and think out of the box and create something unique for the Innovation master category....

This year my entry is an adventure backpack full of a treasure map, mountain lipgloss holder, maze compass and a card with a spinning box inside!!

This project really needs the video visual for you to see how it all works so please check out the video linked below.....

The backpack was all made by measure and cut and I added a "stitched fishtail sentiment strip" die cut with the sentiment from the "adorable adventures" stamp set

I made the backpack buckles using a die out of the "fold up tags" set...

The backpack has magnets inside creating a magnetic closure so it stays shut keeping all the surprise goodies inside!

Open up the backpack and pull out all the pieces included...

The treasure map - I cut a rectangle of desert storm cardstock, stamped on some images from the "adorable adventures" stamp set, coloured them in with Copic markers, added a white pen adventure trail and then used some distress oxide ink in the colour Ground espresso around the edges which I ripped.

Compass - The compass base and chain is made using "stitched circle stax" and I added an interactive maze with spheres all inside the circle shaker pouch....
The arrow is from the  "tag builder blueprints 5" and the letters are done by die cutting "bottlecap letters" and inking with some distress oxide ink in carved pumpkin!!

Mountain lipgloss holder - I die cut "snow-capped mountains" in white and green cardstock and layered them all together to create a base for the "lip balm window and frame" "lip balm pouch" with a lipgloss inside for a little gift!!

Onto the card with spinning box inside.....

The front I decorated with a fun spooky scene...
I started with a base of cardstock that I inked up with some distress oxide inks - Speckled Egg, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Ground Espresso!!

I then added some elements using the "slimline grassy hills", "spring scene builder" and "haunted house" dienamics....

Images from the "adorable adventures" and "halloween hoo" stamp sets all coloured with Copic markers!! The card also features a magnetic closer keeping it closed before opening to find the surprise spinning box inside......

When you open up the card this is what it looks like.....

You unfold all the box and it stays together with magnetic closures....

The box is able to spin around so you can see all the different scenes around the edges!!

Pattern paper is from MFT 6x6 paper pad - Plaid patterns

I used the same distress oxide ink blend to create panels for each of the scenes on the box along with images from the "adorable adventures" stamp set and a "spooky fence"!!

Once you have finished looking around all the edges of the spinning box it can all be folded flat again so that the card can close back up....

Here is a closer look at the maze compass....

And a closer look at the mountain lipgloss holder....

I hope you have enjoyed this adventure project as much as I enjoyed creating it....

It was so much fun to try and think of some different ways to use MFT products and create a fun adventure for a friends gift!!

Thankyou so much for stopping by and checking out my entry,
big hugz Ashlee.

Hello pumpkin....!!

Hello my crafty friends...

I'm up on the blog at "Gerda Steiner designs" today and I thought I'd make and share with you a slimline card with a fall theme featuring the super cute "Pumpkin bear"....

He is just so adorable and I thought it would be fun to have him standing on a bunch of pumpkins...

I started off with a white slimline cardstock base and masked off the top area so I could do a blend of distress oxide inks in the colours...

- Speckled Egg
- Mustard Seed
- Carved Pumpkin
- Ground Espresso

I stamped on the "Hello pumpkin" sentiment using some Memento tuxedo black ink and then added all my Copic coloured GSD images to the card base using some foam tape for added dimension...

Finishing it all off with a few sequins from Catherine Poolers "Des Moines" sequins mix...
Attached using some micro glue dots.

I hope you enjoy this slimline card, I just love making them...
Happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee

Peace and Christmas wishes....!!

Hey my friends....

I have some inspiration to share with you today for our current monthly theme at the WOW! embossing facebook group - CHRISTMAS!!

This one is a fun shaker card full of Christmas spirit and sparkle!!

I used a couple of beautiful WOW embossing powders for this one to emboss some die cut shapes for my scene as well as a feature sentiment!!

The WOW! powders I used are a couple of powders inspired by Catherine Pooler...
 Skylight and Peppermint scrub

I find it easier to emboss a piece of cardstock with whatever WOW! powder I choose first and then die cut the shape from that embossed piece. I feel it's easier doing it this way so you don't have to try and hold onto pieces and emboss at the same time!!

The card base is made by die cutting a couple of layers with a Trinity stamps die stitched card panels and I then die cut some windows for my shaker frames...
I filled the shakers with lots of pretty embellishments from Pretty Pink Posh and Paper rose!!

(I pulled a couple of my older goodies from my stash to create this card so unfortunately they aren't available anymore but the stamp set is from Clearly Besotted and the Peace die is an MFT dienamic)

Here's a close up of some of the embossed pieces, how cool is the embossed result of these powders?! So glittery and pretty !!

I also added a sentiment on black cardstock embossed with WOW! Opaque bright white...
This is one of my most favourite ways to do sentiments!!

I hope you like this slimline Christmas card....
Also our theme at WOW! embossing facebook group this month is Christmas so you could even create a card and come and share it with us!!

Happy embossing, Hugz Ashlee
