WOW! Embossing and Kat Scrappiness blog hop....!!

Welcome to the WOW! Embossing Powder & Kat Scrappiness Blog Hop! We have TWO days of inspiration for you using Kat Scrappiness Stamps, Dies, and Embellishments and WOW! Embossing Powders. And of course there are amazing PRIZES!

I made a couple of cards to inspire you using "Crafters gonna craft" stamp set and "Thankyou w/shadow" die from Kat Scrappiness along with these WOW! powders and Sparkles....

- Splash embossing powder
- Cupcake heaven embossing powder
- Pinkini sparkles
- Bridal sparkles

To create the big Thankyou sentiment for both cards  I heat embossed two pieces of white cardstock, one with Splash and one with Cupcake heaven which I then die cut the Thankyou w/shadow die from each piece....

Once I die cut them both I used some Bearly arts glue to glue them all together...

I stamped all the images for my cards on X-press it blending card and coloured them in with Copic markers...

I added some Sparkles to some of the images by putting down some liquid glue and then covering in Sparkles!!

They turned out so crafty and sparkly....
(I wish you could see how sparkly they are in real life!!)

To finish them all off I added a touch of Crater Lake sequins from Catherine Pooler by attaching them to my cards with some Glue dots from Columbus Trading!!

I hope you enjoyed this set of crafty theme cards....

BOO....!!

Hey my friends...

I have some new "Gerda Steiner" inspiration for you today and seeing as though people are getting in the spirit with their halloween/fall inspired cards I thought I'd get out the super cute set "Ghosts" - (Co-ordinating dies also available)

I coloured a bunch of the ghosts up using Copic markers and I recently got some new glitter alcohol inks so I thought it would be fun to make an alcohol ink background for them to go on!!

Alcohol inks are so awesome to play around with as you always end up with something different....

I added on some BOO sentiments using dies from Simon says stamp and a touch of sequins, the card was complete!!

I hope you enjoy this BOO card and feel inspired to get creative with your Gerda Steiner goodies...

Happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee

Celebration challenge....!!

Hey my crafty friends...

I'm stopping in with a card I made for the latest challenge at "Your next stamp" - CELEBRATION is the theme!!

I pulled some super cute and fun YNS unicorns from the "Unicorns rock" stamp set from my stash and coloured them up using Copic markers...

I added the unicorns to a slimline card base that I made using some dies from Trinity stamps and MFT...

The background is done using a blend of Distress Oxide inks and then using a stencil "Waves" from Paper rose I added some black details over the top with Simon says stamp black ink!!

I love this black ink technique with the stencils....

To finish the card off I added a sentiment from the same Unicorns rock stamp set from YNS and a touch of Crater Lake sequins from Catherine Pooler that I attached using glue dots....

The micro glue dots are so perfect for attaching sequins!!

I hope you enjoy this celebration card and why not check out the next challenge at YNS and join in the fun....

happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee

Happiest Birthday bear....!!

Hey my crafty friends....

I have a slimline party card to share featuring "Gerda Steiner" designs ....

Slimline cards are so much fun to make, you can fit so much onto one card and they are perfect for doing scenes!!

I used the super awesome stamp set "Birthday bear" (co-ordinating dies also available) and coloured the images up using Copic markers....

To create the card base I die cut the slimline panel from a die by Trinity stamps and inked it using some distress oxide inks Mermaid Lagoon and Speckled Egg before spritzing it with water for a mottled effect!!

I added on a couple of tags die cut from an older die by Memory box and inked up the circle reinforcers with Mermaid Lagoon oxide ink...

I then tied on some yellow and white paper twine which finished off the tags!!

A sentiment, a touch of Catherine Pooler sequins and the card was complete....

I hope you enjoy it, Hugz Ashlee

Stronger....!!

Hey my friends...

I have a bunch of cards to share with you using some products from a past "Club Sursee" (You can check out all the details about Club Sursee at that link) but guess what??!!

These products are now available for purchase in the "Catherine pooler" store!!!!

The stamp set I used to create all the beautiful flowers is called "You've got flowers"...
They are die cut using the "co-ordinating die"!!

I stamped a whole basket of flowers using CP inks in the colours :
- All that Jazz
- Coral Cabana
- Tiki Torch

I also added some leaves stamped using the colour ink Mardi Gras!!

How cute is the die cut basket??!!....

I die cut this for my cards using some Neenah desert storm cardstock and inked the edges with a little Icing on the cake!!

I stamped all the sentiments using CP Midnight ink...

The background stamp on this next card is called "Stronger wreath" and it is so cool as the sentiment can be stamped with or without the border as the inside sentiment piece can be popped out of the background stamp!!

I stamped this by using a mix of the inks blended directly on the stamp....

All the cards were finished off with a touch of CP sequins because I just can't go past adding some to all my cards hehe....!!

You totally need to check out all these beautiful goodies, they are so much fun to create with and perfect for many occasions...

I hope you feel inspired by this post and get crafty, Hugz Ashlee

Die cut embossed elements....!!

Hey my crafty friends...

I was up on the blog at WOW! this past week with this big wishes card featuring a fun rocket heat embossed element using a mix of WOW! embossing powders....

I wanted to create some embossed die cut elements for this space themed big wishes birthday card so I used a die from MFT called Blast off and embossed each piece of the die cut with WOW! powders....

Here is the list of WOW! embossing powders I used to create these rockets!!

I love the super fun effect the WOW! bang embossing powder gives to the body of the rocket and of course I needed to use Metalline flame for the flames coming out...

In the bottom corner of this picture you can see my second WOW! embossed rocket that I made using the other pieces of my die cuts...

I find it easiest to emboss die cut pieces by starting off with a piece of cardstock and covering it in WOW! embossing ink, cover in the desired embossing powder, tip off the excess then heat emboss....

Once it has cooled a little I get a piece of baking paper to place over the top just so that the embossing doesn't stick to the die and then run it through my die cutting machine!!

I hope you enjoy this creation and feel inspired to do some WOW! embossed die cut elements on your cards...

Happy embossing everyone, Hugz Ashlee

Dad You're so fly....!!

Hey everyone....

I have a card to share using a mix of WOW! Primary embossing powders for a masculine themed card to fit our monthly theme at WOW! embossing this month - MASCULINE!!

To create this card I stamped a bunch of the fish from the Catherine Pooler Fly daddy stamp set using WOW! embossing ultra slow dry ink and embossed each one using a different Primary powder....

I thought it would be fun to have a whole bunch of beautiful coloured embossed fish all hanging off the one fishing rod!!

Once all the fish were done I stamped some worms on a white card base, added a stitched square die cut detail and popped up the fishing rod for all the fish to hand off and of course finished it all off with a touch of sequins...

Below is a photo of all the Primary embossing powders I used and how they look on each single embossed fishy!!

I hope you enjoyed this new card and having a closer look at this mix of Primary powders...

Don't forget to pop on over to the WOW! Facebook fans group and join us in our monthly challenge, You even have a chance at some shopping credit to the WOW! store if you are the monthly winner!!

Happy embossing, Hugz Ashlee

PARADISE FOUND insta hop....!!

Hey my friends...

A bunch of us from the "Catherine Pooler" brand ambassador team have a super fun instagram hop underway for you celebrating the up-coming release of the PARADISE FOUND mini inks.....Yipppeeeee!!

The Paradise Found mini inks will be release in the CPD store on 12th AUGUST so get your shopping carts ready...

I create a slimline card for my inspiration using all the colours in the Paradise found collection....

The colours are absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure you will agree!!

I created the base by using a white piece of cardstock that I added colour to using the direct to paper method with the ink pads...

I then die cut the "Polka dot" coverplate twice so I could layer it over the top of the inked panel and join it together to fill the length of the slimline base!!

I stamped a whole bunch of super cute animals from the "Born to be wild" stamp set and die cut them with the "co-ordinating dies"...

To finish it all off I added the born to be wild sentiment along with some pretty CP sequins!!

For a chance at winning yourself a set of the Paradise Found mini inks hop on over and join in the hop over at Instagram...

You can find my Insta page at @ashbie1412 along with all the hop details!!

Hope to see you over there, Hugz Ashlee

Peachy keen....!!

Hey my crafty friends....

I have been having lots of crafty fun catching up on some projects using products from "Catherine Poolers" Club Sursee...

Being an international I had a bit of a postal hold up on some of my products due to the covid crisis but things seem to be starting to get here a bit quicker now which is good for my crafty needs hehe!!

I'm so happy to finally have some inspiration done for you using these "Peachy products"!!

I love using my Club Sursee goodies to create co-ordinating card sets, card sets are great to give as gifts for friends...

Club Sursee is a monthly subscription service from Catherine and it is available in a basic or deluxe package which gets ships directly to your mail box once a month....

It is the absolute best receiving a surprise crafty package of goodies in the mail!!

You can check out all the details on Club Sursee - HERE -

However these awesome peachy products are now available as some of the select Sursee products for customers to purchase separately in the CPD store....

- Just peachy stamps
- Just peachy dies

I used a selection of CP inks to stamp all my images and Midnight ink for the sentiments....

I just love these fun peachy stamps, they are super cute!!

I added a touch of CP sequins to each of the cards and attached them using Glue dots...
Glue dots are a perfect way of adhering sequins as they come in a super small micro size!!

I hope you enjoy this set of peachy cards, and don't forget you can check out all these products separately in the CPD store....

Happy birthday puppy....!!

Hey my friends...

I am loving the brand new "Puppy mail" set (Co-ordinating dies also available) that "Gerda Steiner" designed, it is super duper cute!!

The puppy mail set is perfect for any theme card so for this one I have paired three off the cute puppies for this Happy birthday card....

To create this card I started with a grey cardstock base and using a Catherine Pooler background stamp BFF I added the pattern to the cardstock with A grey shade of ink from Altenew...

I thought it would be fun to add a dog shaped tag behind the Happy birthday sentiment so I die cut that from white cardstock and added some white/red twine...

The sentiment is a stamp from MFT called Happy birthday blend that I stamped in two parts using two shades of red ink from Altenew and then die cut with the co-ordinating die....

The whole card was then finished off with a touch of sequins that I attached using micro glue dots (perfect size for attaching sequins, I use them all the time!!)

I hope you enjoy this puppy themed birthday card...
Happy crafting Hugz Ashlee
