Club canvo AUGUST spreads....!!

Hey everyone...

I'm sharing with you today all my Club Canvo spreads for August using the latest Club canvo goodies from "Catherine Pooler"....

Club Canvo is a monthly subscription from Catherine that includes stamp sets and a stencil delivered straight to your mail box every month....
(You always receive stamp for the month ahead so you have time to create your spreads for that following month)

I used a combination of Catherine's inks for all my August spreads so that they match...

Some of the ink is done by blending on and some is done using a blender pen to colour in the images!!

I love this fun sentiment included in the stamp set...
"Life is short eat ice cream first"....Who doesn't want to eat dessert first right??!!

This double page spread is one that I did so I could track some of my design team card making commitments for the month....

You can check out all the details for Club Canvo -HERE-

It's so much fun getting surprise Canvo goodies in the mail to create spreads with!!

I hope you can find some inspiration from my post, happy bullet journaling friends,

Wishing you....!!

Hey everyone....

I've been having so much fun with a bunch of new products from "Catherine Poolers" new release One plus One!!

To create this first card I started off with a white card base and stamped the old oak tree using Mid night ink on the side of the card base....

Then using the good things mini coverplate I die cut it from yellow cardstock so that I could use the GOOD sentiment piece as a main part of my sentiment on the card...

I stamped the wishing you, things ontop and underneath the GOOD sentiment with Midnight ink and then to finish it all off a touch of Big Apple sequins!!

For my second card I started with a base of black cardstock and then using a piece of white card I die cut the polka dot coverplate and glued it over the top of the black so the black would peek through all the little polkas....

I die cut the good things mini coverplate from yellow and black cardstock so that I could layer some of the yellow sentiment back into the coverplate die cut and have part of it empty to be able to see the polkas through the word....

To finish the card off I added some sentiments from the be the good sentiment set and of course some more Big Apple sequins!!

I hope you enjoy this set of cards, I had so much fun making them....

Trinity guest slimline card....!!

Hey my crafty friends...

I'm back today with my second guest post for Trinity stamps and I have a fun shaker slimline card to share with you!!

I just love creating shaker cards, they are so much fun to fill with beautiful embellishments and Trinity sure has you covered for those. There is so many gorgeous choices to fill those shakers....

I filled mine using some Crystalized Unicorn tears rhinestones along with a couple of other Trinity embellishments that were gifts with purchase and one that I think is retired now but there is certainly many more to choose from!!

To create my base pieces for my shaker I used the slimline card series - Stitched card panels and windows die, the layering piece cut from pink cardstock and then the frame from white....

Using the super sweet Mr snailman stamp set I stamped and coloured the snail and the mailbox before cutting them out and adding them to the card base using foam tape for dimension!!

To finish it all off I added some extra Unicorn tears rhinestones around the frame which I attached using Glue dots, they are perfect for attaching embellishments!!

I hope you enjoy this shaker slimline card, I'd like to thanks Trinity stamps for having me as a guest this month it's been a blast!!

White pearl on inked backgrounds....!!

Hey everyone...

I have a new Pearl inspired card for the current monthly challenge theme at WOW! embossing Facebook fans to share with you today using the beautiful White pearl regular embossing powder....

This embossing powder works perfectly over inked backgrounds so I thought I'd do a mix of Distress Oxide inks in the colours Picked raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Spiced Marmalade!!

Once the ink blending was all dry I went over it with an anti static tool and stamped the Simon says stamp Cling rubber leaves and berries background using WOW! embossing ink and then embossed with the White pearl powder....

I just love the shiny pretty result the White pearl gives to the background...

To finish off the card I added a die cut "YOU" from white cardstock and then heat embossed the sentiment "You're a stellar human" on black cardstock using WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder....

Our theme at the WOW! Facebook fans page this month is pearls so you should totally get out your pearl powders and create a card to share with us, you will even have a chance at winning yourself a voucher to do some shopping at the WOW! store!!

Happy embossing everyone, Hugz Ashlee

Good things....!!

It's getting so close to release day for the One plus One collection at "Catherine Pooler"...
are you excited because I know I am??!!

I've got another couple sneak peeks to share with you from the release using products from the This calls for cake bundle....

I also used the patterned paper from this collection called "A Tisket, a Taskit", the designs in it are just gorgeous!!

To create this first card I started with a base of patterned paper and then using the "Good things mini coverplate" I die cut that from white and yellow cardstock so that I could mix and match the coloured pieces....

I then stamped the you deserve sentiment from the "Be the good sentiments" set onto some white card and layered it on some of the patterned paper. Finishing off the card with some of the "Big apple sequins"!!

For this second card I die cut the base using the "Polka dot coverplate" out of red cardstock before adding it to a white cardbase...

I then die cut the "Good things mini coverplate"out of white and black cardstock so I could use both colours together...

I added some of the A Tisket, a Tasket patterned paper under the good things coverplate frame. I just love this piece of the paper it reminds me of a picnic!!

A sentiment from the "Be the good sentiments" set and some "Big apple sequins" finished it all off....

I hope you enjoy both of these cards, and don't forget all these amazing products will be available very soon so you don't have to wait too much longer to get your hands on them!!

Some of the leaves I stamped on a piece of "CP premium white cardstock" and then die cut them so I could layer them on with a piece of foam tape for dimension....

It's a good day....!!

Hey my friends...

I have some new "Gerda Steiner" inspiration for you and this card features the brand new set "Puppy mail"....

I just adore this new stamp set, happy mail is one of my favourite themes to create with and the puppy dogs make it even cuter!!

To create this card I made an ink blended background using a Create a smile stencil called medium stripes and some distress oxide inks...

I then die cut a postage circle from a piece of vellum and added it to the card base by hiding the tape underneath the images....

I stamped, coloured and cut out the puppy mail images then added them to the postage circle with some foam tape for added dimension...

I finished the card off by adding a die cut sending and some sentiments from the puppy mail stamp set, along with some sequins of course!!

I hope you all enjoy this new happy mail card, you totally need to check out this new stamp set and add it to your GSD stamp collection...

Trinity stamps guest.... Snailman!!

Hey everyone...

It's Ashlee here with you today from "Ashlee's Creations" and I'm excited to be a guest here at Trinity stamps for the month of July!!

Today I have my first card to share with you and this one is using the super fun little stamp set "Mr snailman" (also co-ordinaing dies now available)...

To create this card I started with a white card base and using a circle stencil I masked off the base and ink blended Distress oxide ink Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn to create the focal centrepiece on the background...

Once the inking was done I splattered on some Opaque white paint for a fun effect.

I coloured in the snailman and letterbox using Copic markers and then added them to the card base using some foam tape for dimension!!

For the sentiment I heat embossed "Snailmail" using WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder on black cardstock then fussy cut around it...

I also added the small text paper hug enclosed underneath which was stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink!!

To finish the whole card off I backed the base in black cardstock and added on some super pretty Unicorn tears Trinity embellishments....

I hope you enjoy this Snailmail card and I look forward to sharing my next guest card with you soon, Hugz Ashlee

WOW! Primary fish....!!

Hey everyone....

I have a card new card up on the "WOW! embossing" blog this week using a mix of WOW! Primary embossing powders for a masculine themed card to fit our monthly theme at WOW! embossing this month - MASCULINE!!

To create this card I stamped a bunch of the fish from the Catherine Pooler Fly daddy stamp set using WOW! embossing ultra slow dry ink and embossed each one using a different Primary powder....

I thought it would be fun to have a whole bunch of beautiful coloured embossed fish all hanging off the one fishing rod!!

Once all the fish were done I stamped some worms on a white card base, added a stitched square die cut detail and popped up the fishing rod for all the fish to hand off and of course finished it all off with a touch of sequins...

Below is a photo of all the Primary embossing powders I used and how they look on each single embossed fishy!!

I hope you enjoyed this new card and having a closer look at this mix of Primary powders...

Don't forget to pop on over to the WOW! Facebook fans group and join us in our monthly challenge, You even have a chance at some shopping credit to the WOW! store if you are the monthly winner!!

Happy embossing, Hugz Ashlee...

Happy birthday set....!!

Hey everyone....

Tonight I thought I'd pop by and share and set of creations I made using some products from the latest "Catherine Pooler" Lets party release....

This release included some super cool balloon stencils so I started off with a white card base of Catherine's premium white cardstock and then using the "Oval balloon stencil" I ink blended on a whole bunch of balloons using CP inks....

Ink colours used are :
- Aquatini
- Rockin Red
- Orange Twist
- Lime Rickey
- Limoncello
- Tiara

To create the overlapping balloons after starting each balloon move your stencil to a position where it touches part of another balloon and once you have done the base inking of the balloon add in the highlight from the stencil with the same coloured ink...

Try and ink the balloons butter edge darker than the centre to create the see-through balloon look!!

To finish off the card I added the "Stacked happy birthday" die cut from black cardstock and some "Soda springs" sequins...

I then thought it would be fun to create a matching tag perfect to add on the present for this card so using the "Layered tag" die I die cut a tag from Catherine's premium white cardstock and used the same technique to add on the Oval balloons...

I added the sentiment from the "Happy birthday many ways" set using Midnight ink and finished it off with some paper twine to tie it on!!

Thanks so much for checking out this birthday set, I hope you like it...
Happy crafting, Hugz Ashlee

So happy florals...!!

Hey my crafty friends...

Today I'm popping in to share this one layer card I made using some new products from "Create a smile stamps"!!

For this card I started off with a Neenah dessert storm cardbase and then using the solid florals stamp set I stamped a whole bunch of the beautiful florals in a circle using my Catherine Pooler inks creating a fun floral wreath...

I added the so happy sentiment to the middle of the wreath using Memento tuxedo black ink!!

To finish it all off I added some details with a white gel pen and then stuck on some pretty sequins using Micro glue dots....

I love how bright and cheery the solid florals turned out, they just pop off the card!!
Such a sweet stamps set perfect for cards of many occasions....

I hope you enjoy it, Hugz Ashlee
