Endless potential....!!

Hey everyone.....

"Uniquely Creative" has an awesome new mini kit called

These mini kits are a new addition to the awesome Uniquely kits,
and as are all their kits they are fantastic value!!

This kit includes a stamp set, stencil, chipboards, and a cut-apart sheet.

Here are some cards I made using all the goodies!!

This first one is super simple to do...
I stamped the main flower image using black ink and added in a touch of colour with the little leaves using Altenew cube inks in a green.

The chipboard I covered in a black ink and then added glossy accents all over the top!

This next one I watercolored the flowers using
Altenew's new watercolour palette paints.

I used the stencil in the background that comes in the kit to add
some colour behind the flowers... then added a cut-apart on top of the flowers.

For the last card I stamped the flower image first in
black and then in a pink Altenew cube ink slightly off set...

I cut out the part of the image I wanted to use and then added it to the card front using some foam adhesive!!

I also used the stencil in the background of this one too, along with the same technique of black ink and glossy accents on the chipboard sentiment....

All the cards have a touch of pretty Uniquely embellishments...

I hope you have enjoyed all my inspiration for this brand new kit!!

Hey pawstie....!!

Hey everyone...

It's new challenge time at "Create a smile" challenge blog and this
fortnight our theme is saying hello...

I was inspired by another Create a smile design team members card to get out my prismacolour pencils and colour on some kraft cardstock.

Here is the end result...

I created a fun little postie scene using the stamp set "bear mail"...

The "HEY" sentiments I added is from the "gull gang" set but the rest of the sentiment
is from the same set as the images.

I had so much fun experimenting colouring on the kraft card...
I enjoyed it so much I have a feeling I will have some more cards using this
colouring technique!!

Come along to the challenge and join us in this fortnights fun...
you even have a chance at winning a voucher for the "Create a smile" store!!

Holiday fairies.....!!

Hey everyone....

Yippee it's new release sneak peek time at "Craftin desert divas"!!

Im showing you a sneak peek of a set called Holiday fairies
and a fun spider web stencil!!

I cut out the front shaker panel piece using the "torn paper" dies and then inked the
spiderweb stencil with distress oxide. Once that had dried a little I inked all around the edges in a couple purple shades of oxide ink.

I then used the "inside scalloped circle" die to cut of the shaker.

The "hocus pokus" sequin mix was perfect for this one!!

I just love this sweet fairy... and I enjoyed colouring her up with my Copics!!

Stay tuned for another sneak peek of this stamp set from me this week...

With you....!!

Hey everyone...

I've got a Gerda Steiner designs card to share with you today using the
"owl rather be with you" set, co-ordinating die set also available.....

I made a background spotlight using some distress oxide inks,
and I stamped one of the fantastic sentiments slightly over the top edge so it kind of
merged into the background.

Once I stamped the sentiment I went over it with a black gelly roll pen so it
has lots of sparkle in the light!!

The super cute owl and branch I coloured up with Copics...

and to finish off the card I added a few black rhinestones!!

Be sure to check out this new set, its super cute!!

Wizard trolls are here......!!

Hey everyone...

If your a Harry Potter fan you are going to love what I have to show you....

"Craftin desert divas" released this super cute set called "Wizard trolls
along with a matching stencil called "magic castle".

(There was also a special bundle available for a limited time that sold
out super quick which included the sequin mix I used called summoning spells!!)

I made a matching set of three cards using the stamps so here they all are....

How cute is he right??!!....

I just love this stencil it has so many different options and uses,
works so well with the stamp set!!

I created fun shaker circles for this background using the circle die out of the
"Inside scalloped rectangles" die and filled them with sequins from the
special Summoning spells mix!!

Oh Dobby...your so cute!!!

Another shaker for this one too, this time the shaker frame was made using the

I had a blast colouring up these images, I googled searched picture of the HP characters from the film to get the colouring to match!

What do you think of this set? I know I love it hehe!!

Hope you like my cards using them,

Smile....!!

Hey everyone...

I have a couple cards to share with you all using one of the new stamp sets from

I think he is so cheeky and adorable...
certainly going to put a smile on the recipients face when they open it I'm sure!!

I created the fun cloudy sky with a stencil and distress oxide inks,
then sprayed it with a bit of water for a mottled effect...

The grass was done using paints on a gelli plate...
I find the gelli plates so fun to create papers to use for cards!!

This stamp set also comes with two fantastic sentiments...
"SMILE" and "Turn that frown upside down" which both suit this fun flamingo perfectly!!

On this next card I wanted the sentiment to also be a main feature
along with the flamingo, so I used a die that would centre in on the card.

I used distress oxide inks to colour all the die cuts and also with a leaf stencil to
add a fun element around the sentiment.

(On both cards the flamingo is coloured with Copics...)

I hope I have inspired you with ways to use the flamingo...

Stories......!!

Hey everyone...

I have finished working on my project for the "Innovation master" category for the
MFT superstar challenge so here it is, I hope you enjoy checking it out.......

The video of my project was too large to upload through blogger so please check out this link to see how my card all works.... https://youtu.be/lmlc_8npVN0

I racked my brain for days trying to think of an idea of what I could do for this category,
and this is what I came up with....

A pop up, pop out cube box card.... with shaker maze glasses.
Lots and lots of MFT products used to make this one!!

The box and cubes I made from scratch.
I'd never made pop up cubes before, and let me tell you I had to have a
few goes to get these to work...But I got there in the end lol!!

The glasses I made using a die out of the "blueprints 31" by cutting out four of the same piece, four of the "circle shaker pouches", "maze shapes" and "maze spheres".

The glasses are used as a band around the box card as a fun component
to take off and play as a little game!!

Once the glasses are removed it shows the beginning of whats to come....
A box of little stories!!

The rays are done using distress oxide ink on black cardstock with the
"Radiating rays" MFT stencil, One of my absolute fave stencils!!

When you open the card on the box it is a little pop up scene using
"Our story" stamp set...

All the images I coloured using Copics and NUVO pens....

The little frame in the background is from the "stitched mini scallop rectangle" stax die set.

The drawer in the box can be slid open either way to reveal all the pop up cubes that will all pop out by themselves once the drawer if fully open!!

Here come the boxes with their messages and little stories.....

First side is a message of birthday wishes for the special recipient!!
(Dienamics "stitched circle" stax and "stitched mini scallop circle" stax).

The greeting is die cut from the "bottle cap letters".

Next a little magical unicorn fairy tale that you can create your own story....

Stamps from the BB "magical unicorns" set.
(Dienamics "end of the rainbow").

A fun mix of shakers and little messages....

and last a little dragon story using the BB "magical dragons" stamps....

Thanks so much for checking out my entry for the "innovation master" category....
it was so much fun to enter!!

There is so many awesome entries,
I recommend going over to the "MFT blog" and checking them all out!!

Happy crafting all, Hugz Ashlee.

Saddle up and Celebrate.....!!

Hey everyone....

Tonight I'm popping in with my entry for the "Colouring virtuoso" category
of the MFT 2018 card design superstar competition!!

I did'nt think I was actually going to get a card done for this category because I had been busy working on a project for the innovation category (coming soon) but I had an idea
and I went with it, got my copics out and got one done ....Yay!!

I dont usually do full masking and one layer colouring so this was a bit different for me but I really really enjoyed it and I must say I am actually quite pleased with my end result.
I think I shocked myself lol!!

I used the super cute stamp set "saddle up and celebrate", masked a fun scene and then added in my background elements using distress oxide ink and two MFT stencils....

- Radiating rays (an absolute fave stencil of mine, I use it a lot)

The sentiment "I spot someone who's having a birthday" is also from the same MFT stamp set, I stamped it on some black cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder!!

A touch of sequins to finish it off, and I was all finished!!

Thanks so much for checking out my entry, I had lots of fun creating it!!

Hugs and happy crafting, Ashlee.

Bundles of hugs....!!

Hi everyone...

MFT superstar challenge is on and I really wanted to get some entries
in to this awesome comp so I'm here with my card for the "CAS category".

For this one I have used the gorgeous new Birdie Brown set called "Fall friends"...

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this set and colour up the cute images,
which I did using Copic markers, my fave colouring medium!!

I also used a couple of other MFT products...

The "mini cloud edge" stencil for the clouds peeking out from
behind the area that I die cut using the "stitched triple peek-a-boo window".

I thought it would be fun to use this die on an angle instead of straight or single windows.

The sentiment is also from the same BB stamp set and I stamped that on a die cut
from the "blueprints 29" set.

I hope you enjoy viewing my entry, and thank you for popping by!!

Shaped cards....!!

Good evening everyone...

Time for a new challenge at "Create a smile" and this fortnight our
theme is shaped cards!!

To make the shaped card base I used the die "postage edge circles"..
for the background base of the card I used some NUVO paste
with the "diagonal grid" stencil....

The beautiful flower images are from the stamp set "fun flowers"...
I coloured them up using Wink of stella pens aswell as brush pens...
so they are SUPER sparkly IRL!!

The sentiment "hey" is from the "say what" stamp set and I stamped/layered it with the "stacked pierced banners" die.!!

What fun shaped card are you going to make?! I can't wait to see what you come up with..
Dont forget to come over and join us in the challenge as there is a gift voucher up for grabs for the challenge winner to the CAS store!!!!

Wheelie....!!

Hey everyone...

I've made a card following the creative challenge at
"Craftin Desert Divas"..."STENCILS"!!

I love using stencils to add in backgrounds for my cards....
For this one I used the "cloud sky" stencil with distress oxide ink in Tumbled glass.

The main images on this card are from the "wheelie" stamp set...
coloured up with Copics.

I propped them on to the "tandem bike" die cut out of white cardstock...
Its such a sweet die as it cuts out all the bike details in little stitching marks!!

Added a touch of pretty CDD sequins to finish the card off...

I will be back soon with some new goodies to share from CDD
so keep your eyes peeled!!

Ten kinds....!!

Good morning everyone....

I have a new "The ink road" card to share with you using a
few of their stamp sets...

I seen one of the design team members (Samantha
use a fun technique to colour the images so I thought I would give it a go too...

First I stamped the full bloom images I wanted to use, then picked a stamp from the full circle set and some Altenew inks to stamp the colour into the flowers and leaves!!

It was something fun to try instead of colouring the images with markers...

I just love the beautiful sentiment and thought it would be perfectly placed
inside a shaker filled with pretty sequins from "hbbrittneylee" etsy store!!

Ink road has some fun stamp sets, you can use this
code here for 15% off your first order!!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my card!!

I coloured up this cool Bella with Copics..
